Missing Piece: And it’s not WR or TE

IMO, the need no. 1 is an add to the Offensive line. Any Talent upgrade, to any of those 5 OL spots, is crucial. Even if one of the IR (Wynn/ Andrews) guys were to return later, an upgrade in the Road Grater position, will allow for an improvement in the clock-churning running game.

Raider RB M. Lynch to IR: Pats should browse

With Lynch’s contract up at the end of this season, and with the possibility of him being able to return (groin) in December, the Pats should kick the tires, on what would be at a low risk, low cost Option price.

    Blood Brothers

Pre-Gaming, and at halftime, in the Nosebleed Section 430’s Section area, at the SB 39 at JAX Stadium, I thought we were conversing with fellow Bostonians. Yes, we both have an edge, and that is Good. We won round 1, and I sincerely congratulate on your SB 52 Victory.

With the lowest game day prices on Stubhub / Vividseats / and Ace Tickets starting at $700, the Pats/Jaguar tilt will set set the record as the priciest Ticket ever for a New England Patriots home game.

“Do your Job” in the 1963 WWII Movie “PT-109” / JFK

IMG_3845.MOV As the Commanding Officer (in minute 65 of the film), Navy Lt. (j.g.) John F. Kennedy (played by Cliff Robertson) answers a fellow Sailor’s question, on how to best to be the best wartime Sailor he can be: ...”Do Your Job”...,,,,,,,

    Meat on the bone

Meat on the bone Part of being a good GM is making fair deals, particularly when you gain goodwill, by conceding to a trading partner, holding a 3-4-5-6-7 Straight Flush.

Record-Setting Ticket Prices for PITT/NE tilt

Due to vibrant local economy, and a voracious Steeler traveling fan base, the prices for the upcoming AFCCG at Gillette Stadium last night hit an all-time Patriot's Dow Jones Industrial high: As of 9 PM last night, the average, national on-line ticket price for a "walk-in" (high/far corner seat...

Don't hold your breath hoping for tix thru Patriots Ticket Exchange

Ace Tickets must be partnering-up with the Patriots to sell $120 seats, for marked-up prices starting at $325. When the Patriots release tickets to Season Ticket Holders and Wait List members, they are typically released with telltale concentration to certain sections, for example Sections 323...

AFC Number 2 Seed if N.E. finishes at 12-4

Assuming the Dolphins do not run the table, and win their last 11, to end-up at 12-4: The Patriots will root tonight for the 6-3 Houston Texans to defeat the Raiders, as NE has the tie-breaker over the Texans. This gives them the best route for the #1 Seed, as you need OAK/KC/DEN to rack-up as...

    Hatchet Job: Part II

You can bet Park Avenue is burning the midnight oil trying to come up with a special refereeing encore in mind for the Patriots this coming Sunday in Denver. This is the second act, which follows the league-ordered Officiating treachery, dutifully handled by Tony Corrente and crew, to hand...

Deion Sanders on NFLN: KC Chiefs will Defeat the Patriots

Sanders predicts (almost off camera on the NFL Network Show with LT etc.) that the Chiefs will take down New England next Saturday (1/16/16) at Gillette Stadium.

An NFL Super-Rarity: #1 Conference Seed Dropping Final 2 Games

Two (2) games to go, and you are the Automatic #2 Seed in your Conference, with no other teams clinching Home Field Advantage with 2 to go. It must be an NFL first to not be the #1Seed, at the regular season end, after your position with two games to go.

    Beat the Patriots For Dummies

Only Poking Holes thru some trends that could come back to bite them; 1. A second-grader knows whens the Patriots will run. A very good repetitive sample: No running back on 1st and ten, and an incompletion with no running backs in backfield: Brady now changes his whole demeanor when...

To Dante Scarnecchia: Many retired people go back to work part-time

I am sure they have Dante's phone # on speed dial. So simply dial, and ask if Coach is interested in a lucrative part-time "consulting" position. No interview is required, and the need for your services is immediate.

Over Buy Now on More Quality Defensive Backs

The Pats have a rare opening of time to add one or two more quality defensive backs for relatively modest prices (and no draft picks). Their positional Achilles Heel since 2005, the defensive backfield: reason #1 a fourth Super Bowl denied. Spend $$ on 2 more (in addition to Wilson) quality...

A Dry Track will be Good

Pats depend on very precise offensive routes and tight cuts, which work best on a dry track. Forget the past "bad weather helps New England at home in playoffs" lore: The 2012 Patriot's edition hums along best when weather conditions are most favorable. Bad weather will favor any of their...

    Ravens v. Chargers: Coaching Mismatch

A good chance in this game, the combo of Norv Turner's bad coaching, and Philip Rivers's bad decisions (T Romo) will prevail on Sunday late game. Harbaugh can sit back and wait for the inevitable implosion.
