I have a Philips 60" rear projection HDTV. I've had it for 4 years now and will probably get a 50"-60" plasma or LCD in the next year or two.

By satellite I assume you mean dish. Yes you can hook up multiple receivers, both HD and SD to your dish. You do have to pay an extra 5 bucks a month for each extra receiver though.

My point is, if you want HD content, go with Dish. They carry 4 times the HD content DTV does, and are constantly adding to their lineup. DTV has grown VERY stale. If you're willing to bend over and grab your ankles for Sunday Ticket then go ahead. I had it for 8 years but told DTV to stick...

100% true. I've had DirecTV since 1998 and they use to have cable beat. No more. They do nickel and dime you to death. New subscribers can't even own their receiver anymore, DTV leases it to you monthly. Yet another way to bleed 5 more bucks from subscribers monthly. Other than Sunday...
