Imagine rodgers against the pats defense...it would be brutal. A quick efficient passer would rip them to shreds. Maybe getting to the sb wouldn't be so great if we're going to be humiliated in front of a world wide audience.
And the pack defense is way better than ours, sorry.
There's also Branch out of Clemson. I realize we already have someone named Branch, but you're allowed to have more than one. He would be good. A well disciplined athletic guy.
Also Cam Johnson out of Virginia and a guy out of Boise State, I forgot his name.
Also the guy from WV, forgot...
Green Ellis seems to have turf toe. I wish they would have rested him and let it heal. He's lost explosiveness pretty badly.
The whole pats team needs to learn how to turn and look for the ball. Maybe they could have a signal to shout when to turn...ninkovich tackles moore when the ball...
I think oakland, tenn and cincy all have to lose for jets to get in even if they win.
At least that's what I gather from yahoo's playoff scenario thing. There may be a combination of things that they get in, but i don't think so.
PatsfaninPittsburgh or whatever must have written 50 posts explaining that we really do have a great defense. It's all garbage time when we give up yards and points. Hilarious. Is it garbage time? Is the 1st period garbage time? Ba ha ha. Talk about clueless.
I got ridiculed for saying that we're not as physical as the steelers. Imagine that. Hilarious. One and done? The fans should get their money back for today's travesty. amazing how the homers get irate when anyone says anything other than positive about this team....Hello? Getting shut out...
He sounds like Mark Anderson or maybe Aaron Maybin. I've heard Cox isn't that strong against the run.
I'm thinking do all trade downs
come away with Barron, Casey Heyward/Leonard Johnson, Jarius Wright, McNutt, Jared Crick, maybe Aaron Curry, and a lineman or two and Brian Peters
This is brilliant!
I wonder why they have a hard time finding receivers, I would think they could scour college ranks for "thinking man's" receivers who aren't going to be drafted that highly due to lack of overwhelming physical skills.
I hope they resign welker but the last thing they'd do is look to the internet message board for advice. Let's be realistic and not flatter ourselves, shall we?
Although it's possible that he falls off a cliff skill wise just like a lot of receivers do once they get past 30 or so.
I'm amazed how much effort people must put into a post to research starting field position etc. and then argue vociferously about it.
Anyway, I'm glad they're at the top, but home field advantage didn't do much for them the past two years. I am hoping...watching the steelers though, if big...
Doesn't make any sense cutting him. He was pretty good and it's not like they need another spot with carter going on IR.
Why would they bring back Sterling Moore?
If they give Markell carter a roster spot, I wouldn't be surprised to see them cut him the next week. That's how they roll.
Las two years the pats have lost AT HOME. So what good does home field do for them? Maybe they won't lose by as much as on the road?
I hope they turn it around, I do, but I'm not going to get excited about home field right now. I thought they'd lose at Pittsburgh the year they lost on...
