    Cha chung

Patrick Chung will most likely win a starting role for the opener. He should be the most impactful of all of the rookies. We could be looking at a rookie of the year type candidate. Similar to Mayo last year. Silent but deadly.

    Wheatley our Buckley

Terrance Wheatley has slid under the news due to injury and the new arrivals this off season. However- he has the ball skills to play a significant role-similar to Buckley. A second round selection, I see him making some plays this year if the wrist is healed. What do you guys think?

    Greg Ellis

Is Greg Ellis an option to sign to a one year deal? Would he help? I still believe that we have to add a pass rusher to this team. Lack of Depth could hurt as season goes.

    Watson value

Big Ben has not lived up to his round one draft spot. What would be the fair market value for Watson? Additions of Alex Smith and Chris Baker would make Watson a possible trade option.
  5. R

    Big Vince

What is the trade value for big Vince? Only a few teams run a 3/4. Is he only a Nose or can he play DT for a 4/3 team?

    Myron Pryor-ity

Myron Pryor-Short but explosive-very strong base. A bit of a reach -but if you watch tapes on him I can see why a scout would see opportunity. I am sure he will have a hard time making practice team. You never can have enough 320 lb dt's to compete to stop run, add some energy to inside rush ...

    The ohrnberger with fries

Rich Ohrnberger is someone Dante really liked alot because of his ability to understand the play calls during interviews. He is probably very similar to Koppen-Hochstein-Neal type players. Tough, nasty, overachievers that love to play. He could make switch to center. I expect him to make this...

    Edelmania

Can Julian Edelman make this team as an athlete playing multiple roles? He would be given the position of wr. Impressed in camp- can he beat out Slater this year? We have about 9 wr's on current roster.

    Looking back

My top 3 players in this draft were : Evander Hood-Round one Pittsburgh Rey Maualuga-Round 2- Cincinatti Alex Mack-Round 1- Cleveland *Interesting that all 3 were taken by the black and blue division. These are all guys that will make names for themselves within 2-3 years. All will be...

Rams throwing up a smoke screen?

I think this is a mistake for the Rams. I just don't see Sanchez as a leader. We are talking #2 overall. I think in most drafts this kid is a round 2 type pick. Now watch him become a great player. Anyway-I would not make this choice.

    NFP Draft Buzz and Rumors

I think the Pat's have a better chance of dealing with 49er's at 10-N.F.C. team that Pat's have a draft day trade history with. If I were an A.F.C. team I would not deal with Pat's, it will get you one way or another. Pat's can go get Jenkins-Maualuga-Maybin from 10 to 14. If Pat's went up to...

    Pulling the trigger

I think it is Orakpo that Pat's are interested in if they move into top 8 or 9. He is the most*dynamic pass rusher in this draft. Mayo meet Orakpo.
  13. R

    The hunt is on

So, who is it that the Patriots are targeting in top 10? Andre Smith-Brian Orakpo-B.J.Raji? My guess is that they are targeting a tier value, rather than one specific player.
  14. R

    Harvin at 34

All good points- The reason I asked the question is that it is obvious that he is a dynamic athlete. He has 34 value . He may be terrific in a Faulk type role. Would the Pat's be able to coach a kid like this? Yes. Would staff be able to keep him in line-yes. Is it a risk-yes. Answer is probably...

    Ed Thompson on B**w*n

How good a TE is he? I really don't know. Many college players can say they played Te in High School. I like Barwin. I like him better if he goes late round 2.
  16. R

    Harvin at 34

Would you take Percy Harvin at 34 if he is on the board?
  17. R

    My first round mock draft

Good overall analysis-seems pretty real to me. I would like Maualuga to be there at 23-he would fit our most obvious immediate playing need. I would love to grag English at 34 after grabbing Maualuga at 23. Inside and outside growth. Then get a safety followed by interior offensive lineman-like...

    The Hood

The card is up- The New England Patriots select DE-Evander Hood-The University of Missouri. We all know Belicheck loves his HOOD. *Maualuga and Mack are the two other most interesting round one candidates to me. All 3 would be smart choices-all 3 will be key players in this league for years...
  19. R

    Could it be this simple?

Patriots are you listening? Take Maualuga even if you have to move up in the early teens. Last year we grabbed Mayo at 10. A surprise to most N.F.L. experts and fans. Maualuga can be the power that Patriots lack in lb rotation. Should start soon enough-giving Bruschi reduced minutes. I am...
  20. R

    Hondo Carpenter's mock

Maualuga is the one player that can have the most impact as a rookie. He and Mayo would eventually be the best ILB tandem. ILB is the most glaring problem. Followed by a pass rush. I still believe that adding Peppers or J.Taylor, drafting Maualuga at 23 and maybe English at 34-grabbing a safety...
