While the Jets offense is a mess, Jets D is legit. I see a low scoring game that could go either way, with the Jets shutting down the running game and forcing Brady to throw to the young receivers, but in the end I think the receiver problem will be too much to overcome in a tight game at this...
The o-line is fine as long as the Pats don't play the Giants. If they do, then expect Logan "best guard in football" Mankins to whiff on a number of plays.
One of the most overrated players in the NFL. Dominates bad defensive lines but gets humiliated whenever he goes up against good players.
I still get nightmares of Fred Robbins abusing him in SB42 and frickin' Linval Joseph lunging at Brady on the Chase Blackburn pick in the rematch. Joe...
Florio obviously wasn't very good at algebra in high school.
On a completely different note, I wonder what kind of a birthday party Vince Young would throw if he had as much money as Mr. & Mrs. Brady.
I was a HUGE fan of Jarron Gilbert, and not because of that Youtube video in which he jumps out of a pool. I really thought he was going to the next Trevor Pryce or something and I was upset when the Pats passed on him. As it turns out, he was massive bust even for a 3rd rounder.
OT but Brandon Spikes would've been a Hall of Famer if he played during the 60s or 70s. He's just badly out of place in what is today's National (Arena) Football League.
Is this a serious question? BB is arguably the worst in the NFL when it comes to picking players in the 2nd round. Even if he misses a bunch of games, Harvin would still produce more than most of BB's 2nd round RB/WRs combined.
Pats also had a better and tougher front 7 when they won those 3 SBs.
Seymour was THE best defensive lineman in football during the SB years. Ted Washington > Vince Wilfork in 2003. Also, players like Bobby Hamilton and Anthony Pleasant were extremely underrated as well.
EDIT: I meant Ted...
Week 2 vs the Chargers in 2007. It was right after the Spygate stuff broke out and Norv Turner made a classy move by taking extra security measures to hold team meetings and stuff. Everyone expected the Chargers to roll in, dominate the Pats, and revenge their loss in the playoffs. Instead on...
