I've heard the same thing on VSIN on XM. You cant look at this game in a vacuum. Vegas has liability on those future bets too. Not enough people are talking about that as public money has come in on the Pat's. They are trying to balance all their liabilities not just the spread and money line...
Divisional Round - New England Patriots at San Diego Chargers - January 14th, 2007 | Pro-Football-Reference.com
I believe that was the last one. The next week we lost Indy after leading 21-3 at halftime. Then we've lost twice in Denver since then.
While I agree with your logic, all the sites that I have seen that run heavy analytics on the matchups are giving the pats a 68% chance, just about where Vegas has it.
They were such whiny sore losers. The only one with any sense was Twellman.
All the others were just upset their country didn't win.
I could understand their point if Portugal won on PKs but they won it with a goal. Eder goes from afterthought to hero.
From one Azorean to another - PARABENS!
Chances are good because AP won his case in District Court. Hard to see the NFLPA losing both cases on appeal unless the 8th circuit intentionally waited to see what the 2nd Circuit was going to do.
Hard to say but Olson has been around a long time. I believe he worked for Reagan's justice department. He's more experienced at the Supreme Court level.
Politically he's a strong Republican but he has argued and won some pro gay marriage cases that have won him respect from the Democrats in...
As an attorney I can tell you all that Olson is a legendary figure in appellate litigation. He commands a lot of respect from people across the ideological spectrum. This is a big time get for the Brady team.
I can't think of many higher profile people he could have brought on board...
Yes any day now. The appeal was heard in Oct and as we know many judges have their mind made up before oral argument.
I'm not sure why it's not handed down yet it's overdue. No question that if the decision is upheld it helps Bradys case. It's not right that he gets treated differently because...
I'm sure this has been discussed but the court has no right to file on Goodell's fact finding (ie not understanding the ideal gas law).
It does have a right to ensure that the appeal process was fair.
I'm no longer in a union but if this what an employer can do to you do you really even...
There are some pretty radical legal implications that come from this decision today that go way beyond sports. They won't turn it down because it's sports. This ruling now applies to every unionized worker in the second circuit.
No there are no witnesses at an appeal hearing. The judges just review the record and briefs. The lawyers have a duty to the court but aren't testifying under oath.
My belief is even if the decision is overturned it will need to be remanded as Berman did not rule on multiple points of law...
