And POOF! There Goes the NFL Complaint About The Cellphone Up in Smoke!

This is a marathon, not a sprint. No good PR firm will ever be able to spin the court overturning this atrocious decision... and ripping it to shreds as any good Judge would. KEEP IN MIND - this is a LEGACY court case! Whoever presides will have their name attached to it, and have it read and...

And POOF! There Goes the NFL Complaint About The Cellphone Up in Smoke!

I live in NY so I have my fair share of haters as well. I just tell them that I don't have time to waste on idiots who argue about something they didnt even read. :) (GFY smirk optional) Anyone I've spoken to who has read the Wells report, haters included, agreed that this was nonsense.

So what has Brady been hiding?

This. No legal right to even subpoena the phone when there is NO EVIDENCE OF WRONGDOING.

Breaking: TB12 Authorizes Federal Court Case!

It hasn't gone "our way" because the NFL has been in charge this entire time. Wells was not an independent third party. Goodell is not an independent arbitrator. ESPN is not an independent media outlet. But I have faith in the Courts. More importantly, I have faith in Jeffrey Kessler being a...

Where will Federal case be heard?

BTW from an attorney's POV -- the more you have to legally maneuver your way into a favorable outcome, the weaker your case. Either way, NFL attorneys are getting paid.

Where will Federal case be heard?

The NFL had to do this. They have to be aggressive. It's like being down 20 points in the 4th quarter with a 5 minutes to go. They have no other option but to be as aggressive as possible because they are up against a lot. And by the way... while NY is certainly one of the few "favorable" forums...

    Did we all notice....

Did we all notice... the media plays to a cycle? Phase 1 - Outrage!! Pitchforks!! Burn the house down!!! Phase 2 - Calm somewhat ensues. The bigger picture begins to be digested. Phase 3 - Reasonableness and reality sink in .. .this is the phase where we think the tide is finally turning ...

"Free Brady" rally scheduled for this Sunday at Gillette Stadium

This is about rallying the troops. At the very least, its a cool way to show TB some much deserved love and support. If it was in NY, I would definitely be there.

    Great Washington Post Column

"The records suggest Brady’s not withholding; he’s just a union man who objects to the precedent of giving his private phone to a commissioner who comes on like J. Edgar Hoover." This!! Ding ding ding. This whole sham "invesetigation" and persecution of TB and the PATS reminds me of...

Why Darrelle Revis' Super Bowl ring deserves a asterisk .....

I like how this supposed "history" includes spygate and other memorable moments like "this" or "that" and "everything else". I've never seen such a powerful organization made up almost entirely by stupid people. It is fascinating and troubling all at once.

Great Article - In Defense of Robert Kraft

Its one thing to take the action ( which was bad enough). But its another to be schmucking and hugging it up with your enemy, photos and everything.

Bedard: Belief in league circles is NFLPA has found the perfect player & case to go big-game hunting

With this "anything goes", no precedent, no evidence, just make things up as we go NFL; I wouldn't be surprised if Goodell increased Bradys suspension. Yes I do think hes that big of an idiot. Regardless of the outcome, if Goodell hears it, they'll sue.

    Come to me young Brady

What a fool. This idiot is on a power trip. With how much is at stake, and how inept Roger Goodell is, nobody with half a brain would come to him without an attorney present. Dumbass. Meanwhile Goodells lawyers have probably scripted every damn thing he says in public. He's an idiot and a...

    Kraft hugged Goodell ?

I've never been so angry at the sight of a hug before in my life. What the hell is this?!!
  15. #12

Now that I had time to digest this

Agreed. I believe Kraft knew all along that he'd end up caving in but he wanted to save face for us. So much for all that anger he put on display earlier in the week. Mine is real. In the end i don't really know what Krafts been thinking, but I do know that his approach backfired big time. You...

Our reputation as 'cheaters' is now sealed forever....so how can we move forward?

    I think he has.. https://www.facebook.com/TomBrady/photos/a.214006061973885.50192.214003275307497/914184601956024/?type=1&theater

    Keep your powder dry

I get where you're coming from, but Robert should not have had to bargain for anything. He was in the right. I take that back, WE - PATS NATION were in the right on this one. Kraft chose his money and his billionaire boy's club above this team, above his player. He let us down. He didn't need...

Maybe there is a simple and uncomfortable reason why Kraft did what he did....

The NFL's entire basis for their punishment is the Wells report. There is nothing factual in the Wells report which implicates the Patriots. If something was found after the fact, this would not reflect well on the NFL and their >5MM investigation. Very doubtful other information was found...

As usual TFB will have to save the day

To anyone who thinks Brady's going to lay down: Check his facebook. https://www.facebook.com/TomBrady This was a few days ago but nonetheless speaks volumes. He's heading the "Free Brady" movement.

Our reputation as 'cheaters' is now sealed forever....so how can we move forward?

Because Brady has rights as a citizen of this country, and that includes at his workplace. Kraft's failure to pursue his legal options for his team and for us, the fanbase; does not and can not infringe upon Brady's rights. Will the appeal be successful? Same answer as before. Not without a...
