Clearly it was a typo, way to get worked up about nothing.
And yes, all QB's call for flags, although Brady does seem to do it more than others, but that is not the argument here. Even if all do, I was merely pointing out that all QB's have moments of "questionable body language". At the end of...
Sorry I really don't give to much weight to one comment from a diva WR who even then retracted his original criticism.
As far as the body language fines, again I do not really see the big deal. So he needs to approve his body language on the field, big deal. Eli pouts all the time, Brady...
How many days are you or AndyJohnson there?
I can only go with what I hear in the papers, and everything says that he is an extremely dedicated worker and has full support of the locker room.
Sorry but you can not honestly say one qb's decision making is better than another based on 5 games.
That's just ridiculous.
Sanchez has complete support of the locker room, one or two comments doesn't change that.
Jason Campbell has had a substellar career and has certainly allready peaked. After this season he may never start in the nfl ever again.
Colt McCoy has made 5 starts.
I just don't see how you can take those guys over Sanchez who has shown promise, and is putting up significantly better stats...
He has started 5 games, don't know how you could honestly say he is far ahead of him in such a limited time span.
Also I don't understand what you mean by his approach.
All reports are that he is an extremely dedicated worker, and has taken a leadership position within the team.
Of course.
Which is why I think it is a better way to judge a qb then a "best right now" type analysis.
Of course guys like Sanchez, Flacco, Ryan, and Freeman, at this very moment might not be as good as Cassle, Garrard, or Orton, but at the same time I would argue that they will be better...
So you would start an nfl franchise with Castle, Garrard, Cutler, Orton and Fitzpatrick over Sanchez and Braford?
Am I really reading this correctly?
Orton, Garrard and Fitzpatrick might not even be the opening day starters for their respective teams next year.
If i was starting a franchise these would be my top 15 qb's to take:
1. Peyton Manning
2. Tom Brady
3. Drew Brees
4. Phillip Rivers
5. Aaron Rodgers
6. Michael Vick
7. Ben Roethlisberger
8. Matt Ryan
9. Eli Manning
10. Tony Romo
11. Sam Bradford
12. Joe Flacco
13. Mark Sanchez
14. Josh Freeman...
Look, stats can be intepreted a million ways to try and prove a point, that is why they can not be the sole indicator of perfomance. I was meely pointing out that at least two sides of the spectrum should be looked at. Again notice how you conveniently choose not to adess the two to one td/int...
I love how you just chery pick stats. No mention of his 2 to 1 td/int rate, no mention that he is in the top half in terms of yards, no mention that he has lead multiple come backs and game winning drives, and worst of all no mention that he is in his 2nd year.
Maybe he isn't above average...
Defense melted down against Cleveland.
Of course Sanchez has struggled at times, not denying that. But he has also had some great games this year.
The future is bright for him, and any uniased nfl fan knows that.
Anyways, the Benadryl I took is hitting me now. Happy thanksgiving pats...
