History suggests we know very little about this team...

Such an excellent post! We have suffered plenty of ups and downs in some pretty great years! And the one year that looked perfect ended up being the most gut wrenching of all of them!

    Plenty of tickets available

I am not sure but I think the limit is 4.

    Why are the Patriots pass-happy?

I think that it is time to discuss if our reliance on the spread offense has outlived it's usefulness. It seems that we have become consummed with our downfield passing attack and the potential it holds for scoring. Teams have responded and their solution appears to be to attack Brady at all...

    Plenty of tickets available

The Ticket Exchange is great. It really is a great asset to all season ticket holders.

WEEI.com: Worst No. 1 picks in team history

Katzenmoyer in my opinion was a guy who really had no interest in being a succesful pro. I think that is the number one reason why some guys who are so highly regarded or talented end up flopping. I also think that is why the Pats have had good success drafting: They realize how important...

Marooned on a deserted island with only a DVD player and 5 Patriot game tapes

Great thread. 1. Pats/ Colts AFC Championship game 2003 season 2. Super Bowl 36 3. Pats vs Steelers fogbowl 1996 4. Super Bowl 38 5. Pats Colts AFC divisional game 2004

    Is this true?

Every team takes signals. This is not a big deal. The Pats were penalized because they tried to streamline the process by taping from the field and lining up signals with the scoreboard and the play. The information they got from that was no different than the information everyone else got...

    Next season's schedule [mergedx2]

It is amazing how quickly people forget the run where we played Indy at home 3 or 4 years in a row.

If we don't make the playoffs but still finish 10-6 or 11-5 was this year a success

I say Yes. A 10-6 record makes the playoffs 90% of the time. It is an excellent record. Considering all the injuries we have had (we all know the long list but I'll just mention the ones that always seem to get forgotten: Namely Nick Kaczur and Stephen Neal) I have to say that a 10-6 record...

    Watson and TE

To Deus Ira the only thing I will say is that (A) They have no other options at TE now (B) It is not that Watson is a bad player. I think people are frustrated with him because they look at his tremendous physical tools and they think he should be a game changing TE. He has all the tools but...

    Watson and TE

I dont think Watson is a bad tight end. I think he is a disappointment for a first round pick and an average player who is not a terrible receiver but really has shaky hands. I think he is a good blocker. I think we need to address the TE position in the off season.

WBZ-TV: Matt Cassel back w/Pats and expected to play Sunday

I honestly give Matt Cassel all the credit in the world for this. I can't imagine how hard this is for him. No one could fault him if he needed some time. God Bless him and his family I have all the respect in the world for Matt no matter how he plays on Sunday. What resolve! This guy...

Tom Brady speculation (from some weird site)

I work in health care and I think one thing I have definitely observed is that in a complicated situation (and this surgery was complicated by the two joint infections) it is inevitable that the prognosis will differ greatly from Doctor to Doctor. There are thousands of surgeons out there and I...

What's the record of starters/players lost to injury?

And the right side of our offensive line was out for the first 7 or so games

1977: Another 3-way race and a bizarre conclusion

Sometimes I rememeber as a kid you would not even need a ticket you could sneak under the fence on the hill side and no one would care

    Thoughts on Seau

i think it is important the Seau is rested. He played well allthings considered on Sunday, though Deion Branch made him look bad.

Pats-Cards NOT flexed, will remain 1 PM (as scheduled)

Im glad we werent flexed 2 home night games is enough for one year

    Bruschi headin' home

Well I guess we are going to see if Guyton has truly progressed!

No matter what happens its been a good season

I agree with the OP to win even 8 games this season is a miracle most other teams would have stunk!

    Report from Seattle

Tune we have debated the acoustics of Gillette before. You say they are awful. I say they are about average, par for the course for a new stadium, that when people make noise it is pretty loud and that most new stadiums suffer similar flaws. Yet I think we can both agree that we would...
