Give us a break, We just lost a game. It's how fans grieve, no matter how bad we talk about our team, at the end of the day we will still support them. We just need to release some steam(especially the first couple of days after a lost). It's not that we are chicken little , band wagon...
I think alot of it has to do with the players we have. Just take a look in the past when we needed to set a tone, we had players like Bryan Cox, Bruschi in his glory days, Rodney, Willie Mcg. Now take a look at our Defense now, there isnt alot of guys who have that "Im going to knock ur head...
The kind of defense we have been seeing since Crennel left will show up for the Falcons game, and by that I mean passive/zone/read and react. For all the upgrades we made in our secondary supposedly why can't we take advantage of it and BLITZ more! Then again if a team has to rely on TBC and...
In his defense the Jills did run alot of no huddle, kinda hard to substitute guys in and out. On another note I cant wait to see Pryor play...We didnt get much pressure up the middle and maybe Pryor could provide some of that.
Nah, JT played in a 3-4 when Nick Saban was coaching the LOLphins. And im not sure of this but I think he won the Defensive PLayer of the Year award that year.
Re: BB praises his OLB'S (CRABLE, REDD,WOODS)
Behind on what? Im just stating the facts...To this point he hasnt shown much at all, even when he started for a few games last year. Show me something substantial that he did on the field that proves what I have been saying otherwise. He is a...
Re: Official Pats UDFA signing discussion [mergedx2]
Didnt have time to go through the whole thread, does anyone know if Jeremiah Johnson from Oregon was drafted and or signed with somebody as a UDFA?
I don't get the thing about "reaching" for a player. If a team likes that player enough to draft him at where he was drafted then so be it. Ppl tend to get so wrapped up in draft ranking, player rankings and whatnot that they dont understand different team puts different value for different...
MLB for us. He is basically the same size as Mayo. Belichick gave him some high praises in his post draft interview saying he went to 3 different programs cus of family issues yet in each system he did very well. Meaning he picks up the defensive scheme pretty quickly, a PLUS in belichicks book...
Re: So Peter King tell us how you really feel.
I was thinking the same thing when I viewed his highlight clips. When he tackles they either get stopped in their tracks or they go back.
Re: BB praises his OLB'S (CRABLE, REDD,WOODS)
James Harrison is the exception, how many players actually did what he did? Not many that I can think of. Usually if a player is in the league for 4-5 years. U kind of know what type of player they are by then.
Re: BB praises his OLB'S (CRABLE, REDD,WOODS)
I think it is the case, For one he's been a backup his whole career here..second of all he doesnt make many if any impact plays at all. He started last year by default cause of injuries. Basically to me he is the mike wright of our linebacking...
Re: BB praises his OLB'S (CRABLE, REDD,WOODS)
That doesnt mean we cant use Taylor. SO what if he groomed him for 4 years, Woods is nothing more than a Backup player. Taylor would be an upgrade as a pass rusher.
I dont think 1 is a priority over the other.
Dline= important to keep blockers away from LB
Lb= important cause they are the ones who makes the plays
But say u have a great DLINE but ur linebackers cant put any pressure on the QB and or Make plays against the run then it will be all...
Re: BB praises his OLB'S (CRABLE, REDD,WOODS)
Jason Taylor would solve this issue. Awhile back Mort did say it was either us or the LOLphins. Maybe that's why we didnt draft any OLBs.
The more I look at our picks the more I felt it was a draft with 2010 in mind moreso than this year.
The only guy who I can see starting or come close to starting is Chung, Cause of how Belichick runs his defense(likes to use 3 safetys on the field from time to time)
Butler would probably...
I doubt Eldeman plays QB for us. I see him as a Wr/Rb. And if he does play qb for us Im guessing it's going to be on the practice squad running the Wildcat to help us prepare for Pat White twice a year.
