I'll preface by saying I don't know where the "targeted" number comes from, if it includes throw-aways, etc. But here's what the Herald listed for the three top receivers on each team:

I wasn't aware of that. That's pretty interesting...
[Edit] So the Pats have scored 11 TDs in 14 drives starting from within their own 20...

I'm not sure I agree with all his points, but I've been a huge detractor of the passer rating system ever since I understood how it was calculated. It's a relic, and not a useful one at that.

Only perfection will satisfy Belichick

I thought this was amusing for this little anecdote from Sunday:
So, my roommate had a mutual friend of ours (from college) over for dinner tonight.
She was flying home to Germany recently (first class) and this guy sat next to her. He said, "Hi, my name's Robert. I'm involved with the Patriots." Apparently they had a nice conversation, and he gave her...
I say "national" because they're in papers that have no regional affiliation to the Pats or their last/next opponent:
(Think the Washington Post one may have been posted earlier)

It mentions that Belichick was an economics major at Wesleyan, and goes on to talk about how some of his "unorthodox" playcalling...
Who have you enjoyed watching the most so far? Not asking who's best or most skilled, just wondering whom you "like" the most, for whatever reason, so far this season?

Yes, we all know the Pats' opponents have a combined record of 4-12 so far. Press and fans (mostly from other teams) use that to talk about how the Pats are overhyped, haven't been tested, aren't as good as they seem, etc.
Certainly a case can be made for overhyped, and for various reasons...
I found this snippet amusing (or unfortunate, if you're a Bengals fan):
Poor Bengals.
Here's the link to the article, although it's mostly about the Bengals' misfortune:

Hi all...longtime lurker here, just thought I'd share some thoughts on the upcoming game vs. the Bengals.
Below are major defensive stats for the Pats so far:
Stat (NFL Rank)
Points per Game: 11.7 (2nd)
Total Yards per Game: 207 (1st)
