    OT: Tyreek Hill to Miami

Nice long-term haul by the Chiefs loading up on some cap-friendly rookie contracts.

NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION NFCCG: 49ers at Rams

Remember when this game changed the NFL forever?: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_Kansas_City_Chiefs%E2%80%93Los_Angeles_Rams_game

NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION AFCCG: Bengals at Chiefs

Chiefs as the scrappy upstart … funny.

NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION AFCCG: Bengals at Chiefs

Focus will certainly be on Mahomes. But the whole team was flat the entire second half. The D played way more tired than it should have on that last drive. And for all Nantz's talk about "the Chiefs are all about playing 60 minutes today" -- they didn't.

NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION AFCCG: Bengals at Chiefs

Well when you put it like that ....it's even funnier.

Gotta go Saints over Colts in SB as the last one that felt this good.

Four straight home AFCCGs and -- 2-2. Dynasty-ing is hard.

NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION AFCCG: Bengals at Chiefs

Well let's see how much Mahomes gets called out in national media for the choke. Because it really was. From halftime on.

Well that feels good. Mahomes pick after an almost Mahomes pick is the topping.

Tom Brady Retires (Update: Shouts out to Pats players, coaches on social media)

Fair enough but I doubt the TB12 company and Edelman and, especially, the Pats weigh in as they did based solely on the Schefter report.

Tom Brady Retires (Update: Shouts out to Pats players, coaches on social media)

Old(ish) guy memory: In my back yard spring 2002, still basking in the glory of the fact the Patriots actually won a Super Bowl. And I wondered -- how will it end up with this Brady guy? Will we look back in ten years and say "hey ... remember him? Whatever happened to him? Man that as a...

Tom Brady Retires (Update: Shouts out to Pats players, coaches on social media)

Said it in the now closed other thread but, since I keep seeing a lot about this marking the end of so many fans' childhood -- it resonates for us boomer-ish fans too. I've lived through great Boston athletes from Orr to Bird to Yaz/Lynn/Rice/Pedro/Ortiz, but no athlete defines my sports...

Semi-OT: Brady to Retire? (UPDATE: RETIRED)

Hit me a little harder than I expected, even though I expect it (called it just at the end of the Rams game). As an aside: I know how the board operates but Brady retiring doesn't strike me as remotely even "semi OT". Maybe time for a title change there. I've lived through great Boston athletes...

Blame the players ... sure. Class.

NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Bills vs Chiefs game thread

I saw a comment on Twitter that Mahomes runs as if his shoes are two sizes too small. Pretty apt. (Fully acknowledging that he runs just fine ...)

NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION NFC Division Round: LA Rams at Tampa Bay Bucs

All in all I think that’s a good game for Brady to retire on.
