(Alleged) Ex-Pats Employee throws mud and makes fool of himself

Well this only proves one thing. He got fired from pfw, and 24 hours later he goes on this war path.

Personally his journalistic career is done. No one will want to believe a word he says...

And yes, I wonder what the lawyers can bring up against him to end this debacle...

What I'm stoked about is if Casale turns out to be Tomase's source on the Rams Walk-through thing. Talk about a media witch-burning!

I can't believe I'm back on this ridiculous thread, but I think it's important to point out that Mayo answered Casale's charges about Bruschi in Kevin McNamara's article in Projo:

“Bruschi’s a great guy. He’s shown me a lot of love since the first day I got here,” said Mayo. “I really wasn’t expecting that from an older guy like him but he’s really proven me wrong. I couldn’t ask to be in a better situation. Bruschi’s an all-pro guy, an all-pro man off the field. I would like to model myself after Tedy Bruschi.”

Do I know this is explicit? Of course not. But I am sure all the media and all the players knew of this crap yesterday and wanted to slap it down, without giving that POS the pleasure of an acknowledgment. If that was their intent, this was the perfect way to do it.

Kudos to them for trying to deflect this BS....I do think the lawyers will get into this quite soon if not already..with AOL carrying the sex tape story..that is hardly a niche audience..I hope Tomy Rider is proud of himself..and I hope he is nailed on this one..no sympathy for him at all....
As to Bruschi being an inspiration.. some people have hearts of stones and live in dark places...(just like Tommy boy)...no sympathy for them either...

I saw the interview, and he was talking about him singing his school's fight song as a rookie, NOT the s&x tape. Give me a break!

I really hope that Belichick and Kraft sue the pants of Casale. And he wonders why people ripped him to shreds on here. Even AFTER he apologized.

Can I just say, and I may be in the minority here, but I absolutely love PFW in Progress and it is my favorite radio show bar none...and that includes their off-football dialogue. Now I by no means can EVER excuse Casale's actions, but overall I think Fred and the gang do an excellent job.

On the show yesterday they mentioned the Casale blog. They spoke of it only for about 2 minutes but you can tell just how upset they were about it. Fred was trying to be politically correct, but you could hear the anger in their voices...they felt incredibly betrayed.

It is an incredibly unfortunate situation but do not let this take away from the quality work PFW, and the Patriots for that matter, do to help get their fans involved ... especially during the offseason.

I withdraw my ill-informed assumption. It's still not my cup of tea though. I know talking football can get stale after awhile, but it's my only reason for 'tuning in'.

I listened to the Podcast last night and it was definitely more Football Related than it has been for a long time - Of course there's more football going on now than there has been in a long time.

Although, They still go off on tangents about stuff that is ridiculous - It was a good listen about the team and players.

I thought Mike Parente (sp?) did a good job, I know most here will hate him for what he said after Spygate and the fact that he's a NY Yankee and NY Giants Fan - I thought he was pretty good. Much better than Casale and his low functioning game of intimidation he tried to play with listeners and the other guys on the show.

Anyway - As I've said before in this "Thread that won't die", give them a listen and see if you like the show now that Casale is gone and hopefully on his way to Goodwill to buy new pants.

I agree....but one can always have insights and a different perspective especially from "insiders"...but I heard less and less REAL information even though they expanded the show ..I stopped listening when the NON-football issues were the bulk of the show...maybe I will try again. Last time I listened..I was quite disappointed..
