Re: (Alleged ) Ex-Pats Employee is running his mouth- Claims serious allegations

Since everyone is reading and posting on this thread I just want to say something while I have the chance:

Hi everybody. How are ya?

Re: (Alleged ) Ex-Pats Employee is running his mouth- Claims serious allegations

this story is a story for the whinny, gossiping, lets post everything a stupid media says and talk about it for days, type fans which this forum is full of

Yea, ok.

I think that based on all the crap that we, Patriot Fans, have been thru over the past year we are a little sensitive to stories like this - It's human nature to discuss and argue what we don't understand.

This, in many ways is healthy for us - get it out, hear others opinions and agree/disagree with fellow fans. I know I needed the outlet of this site to discuss what happened yesterday.

It is what it is and yet another Example of Embracing the Hate in 2008.

I have no hate to embrace, I don't care about going 16-0 (been there done that, didn't like it).

I only have one wish for this season - FINISH by winning our last game

That's fair and I will be the first to trash him if he does put it in (as I did with old spygate when he loved to play both sides of the fence).

This whole thread sux, the story sux and is utterly ridiculous, yet, as passionate fans, we read and respond. I think outing Casale for the jerk that he has certainly been called for. I would imagine we have yet another mediot who wishes they hadn't done what they did (unless of course it truly is about the website "hits" no matter what it takes to get them.

One thing we do know is who the credible media people are versus the mediots. In the end they will win out.

This is the best quote I have seen about this and as far as Casale.....he's dead to me now.

I've heard it all now.

How's this an example of "embracing the hate?"

If anything, this is an example of whining about the hate. If you'd have embraced it, you'd have seen his comments mentioned something and moved on. However some people here are posting about this all day and all night, both here and on his blog.

Re: (Alleged ) Ex-Pats Employee is running his mouth- Claims serious allegations

One thing's for sure: John Tomase must be pretty happy about all this. He'd probably thank Casale for taking the heat off of him in Boston if he had the chance.

I agree. How anybody can say that is beyond me. I was loving every minute of it.

Re: (Alleged ) Ex-Pats Employee is running his mouth- Claims serious allegations

I will give Florio credit for now. It may not have caught Florio's eye yet. The Globes' story appeared in the Arts and Entertainment section of their paper and website, not the sports section. Florio scans the sports section of major papers' websites for his one liners and you would never find the Globe story that way.

If by the end of day tomorrow Florio hasn't posted a story. I will give him full credit.
If by the end of day tomorrow Florio hasn't posted a story, I'll eat my hat.

Right on, BadMoFo - I'm moving on - My embrace usually takes a little longer. :)

Re: (Alleged ) Ex-Pats Employee is running his mouth- Claims serious allegations

My husband had a blood clot that got stuck in a narrow artery when he was in his early 20s. No one knows how it happened. If he had a hole in his heart, he very well could have had a stroke, but as it was, the clot clogged up a congenitally narrow artery.

He definitely was not taking steroids or even playing professional sports. This **** happens. Asking the question "How many 20 year olds get blood clots?" is completely irrelevant. He was treated on the hospital ward with octogenarians. It happens.

I recall one 17 and one 19 year old dying of heart problems during Army training over here. They were two in what seemed like a wierd month or so of youngsters dying of heart problems (if any other Brits can remember).

Like you say, just because your young doesn't mean your imune to heart conditions or problems. Pretty dumb thing to say really...

As for the loss in bulk. Ask anyone who's ever had a lengthy injury just how quickly you lose muscle mass. It's pretty quickly indeed..

Re: (Alleged ) Ex-Pats Employee is running his mouth- Claims serious allegations

Alright fellas, hate to break up this tantalizing story, but Patriots finished their first practice, maybe we could spend more time on that. :)

Yes, and no.

I'm convinced that Casale was the "inside source" that Tomase mistakenly and stupidly relied on to go with the Rams taping story. Read Casale's rant on how the tape existed, was destroyed and powerful dark forces have silenced Walsh. Casale may have been the root of this debacle.

Re: (Alleged ) Ex-Pats Employee is running his mouth- Claims serious allegations

So you didn't like going 16-0?

I've heard it all now.

Being a veteran of the 1-15 and 2-14 seasons etc, sure, it was fun while 16-0 happened. However, I sure did not enjoy the way 2007 ended, did you??

Anything short of a Championship ring is a losing season after all is said and done. There is only one champion and hats of to the Giants, not us. Second fiddle is the toughest instrument to play.

If we win in 2008, sure, I can then take all of our accomplishments this decade in total. However, it's been three long years now since we tasted the ultimate - are you satisfied?? I am not and I sure hope the Patriots aren't.

OK, we weren't talking about losing the Super Bowl. Of course, no one here liked that.

We're talking about going 16-0. I'm sure we all enjoyed that.

Re: (Alleged ) Ex-Pats Employee is running his mouth- Claims serious allegations

We may not agree on some things, but, damn, you are right on here.

I remember that Randy Moss thing. People were near ready to call the woman ... at 4 a.m. Crazy!

We don't agree on ****? Maybe on one thread. I think I'm like you...I forget those who I agree with or don't agree with. The internet is wierd in that we don't really get to know one another's personalities. So I think it would be wrong if I decided not to like someone here...or at least carry a grudge.

In my book BadMo, you're alright...for whatever that's worth.

ya the stupid thing is you are making casale look like a hero to his new emloyees and he probably making money because of this to,i ask a question to all, who the hell care what this idiot posts or blogs???if this is what you need to talk about i suggest people look into getting some hobbies

Re: (Alleged ) Ex-Pats Employee is running his mouth- Claims serious allegations

Beneath all the crap, there is a story here, that Scott Benson is trying to point out (though I think he seriously overshot the mark).

The Krafts could do better at staffing and running PFW. I understand it's tough to fire people, but Casale should have been fired and I don't think that's 20/20 hindsight. Even house publications have a code of ethics. I also think that anyone who manages to distinguish himself like Casale, so quickly and so visibly, must have some kind of history as well.

In an organization that so quickly cuts the decent young rookie who's been trying all his life to succeed in a violent sport, and has no other viable options, why so tender with this jerk?
