Yes, an NFL QB is expected to win the Super Bowl every year. If they don't, they suck.

Do you have any clue how difficult it is to have a winning franchise in the NFL? Let alone a franchise the caliber of the Patriots? Everyone from the owner down to the trainers & staff must be on the same page. Your attitude is awful and you clearly know very little about the sport of football and the NFL Go away.

I dunno...I personally don't see any real criticism of Samuel in this statement. Maybe its just me? Samuel has won championships in NE, and Philly has never won a SB. What is factually wrong here? It's not like he said Asante is a douchebag for choosing $$ over the team he won rings with or anything.

All in all it wasn't a big thing.

However I would prefer if Welker would just shut up and do his talking on the field, along with the other 53 and coaches.

I would love to see Welker blow him up downfield next month, stand over him and say "Get Paid to that MotherF^%ker"

Asante is a baby and our secondary will be stronger as a whole this season without him.

I really do not think that he is going to live up to his new contract.

I seem to be the only one displeased with the Patriots under achievement the last couple of years. This team should have at least 5 Superbowl wins and be considered one of the greatest teams of all time. Instead we become the the 1st team in AFCG history to blow an 18 pt lead and the 1st team in NFL history to win 18 games and not win the Superbowl.

People saying silly things like "I would not bet against Tom". Does no one remember the last game Tom played in that you could have bet on him?

They were 18-1. No team in history had ever had a 16-0 regular season prior to this past year. They were a fluke catch away from becoming known as the greatest team in NFL history. Are you really such a miserable bugger that you can't appreciate that?

You could have bet on him 18 times out of 19 just last season. You do realize that this team holds the records for the longest AND the second longest, regular season winning streaks in NFL history, right? Feel free to go matchup up this team's 7 year run against all the other greats in NFL history. While you're at it, go tally up the huge number of teams that have ever had an 18-1 season.

The team's won 3 Super Bowls in 7 years and you're still crying like a sissy.
