awesome so far..#9 in 3rd and then our 2 fourths still to go wooot

Unbelievable. I really liked Maroney but I was leaning towards DeAngelo Williams. Anyway, I wanted to get Chad Jackson with our FIRST pick at the time. When I noticed he was falling, I was praying that he'd be there with our second pick but was worried that he wouldnt be there. Thank you BB! You just set this offense up for the next decade.

You got to love these pats picks.
With Seattle going CB in 1st rd we probably resign Ty Law...

My bad: That's NOT good for us in terms of the value chart too.

We got: #36 = 540
We gave: #52 (380) + #75 (215) = 595

I went to a top engineering school, but I can't do arithmetic!

i was gonna say
lol
we shouldve gotten a fifth rounder
i dont get it

WOW! Maroney AND Jackson..... Talk about upgrading your offense in a few hours..... I salute you BB/SP! Now go get a mean, nasty ILB and I'll sleep like a baby:rocker:

Doesn't matter, you're trading for players not generic picks.

we gave up the early third rounder

so much for greg jennings
although chad jackson could be the next chad johnson

Yes, Maroney will be a serviceable 3rd down back and C. Jackson will, at best, eventually develop into a similar player to SEA Darrell Jackson. Talented and dangerous but soft and has he dropsies.

Alot of mocks had him around the 14-15 pick range in the first round. Good value IMO.

CAROLINA WANTED Maroney

I was listening here in Charlotte and they wanted to get him a few picks later. Both annoucers said the same thing
Maroney is better than DeAngelo

Good Pick!

That's my take as well. They must have felt Denver would pounce on Jackson.

Great move and still 3 picks left today! (this goes thru 4 rounds today right?)

but theyre not the same style

jackson runs completely diff routes

Good info.

It came straight out of Michael Irvin's mouth.''Tom Brady is the best quarterback in the league''.I guest he has put down that crack pipe after all.

Chad Jackson has great hands, I dont know what you are talking about.

This is the problem I have with the draft points value system. Jackson is first round talent but because according to the point value system the trade doesn't add up it is a bad pick. If football was that analytical and uniform then Houston would have the best team in the league.

Chad Jackson is NOTHING like Dexter Jackson.

Maroney as a third down RB? You, sir, are a moron.

We've drafted a RB and traded up in the 2nd to take a WR thusfar?

Color me SHOCKED!
