Question about boosting next season. Do we want to do it early to get higher levels, or later in the season to maximize the effects of our training?

I thought about it, and it seems pretty clear to me:

1. Boost at the beginning of the season - helps your team do better throughout the season.

2. Boost at the end of the season - does nothing to help your team, but guarantees that you are operating at maximum XP efficiency.

I'm a team player. I'd rather help my team win now than care about having an extra 1 level (if that) over the course of a season.

I plan on boosting the max as soon as I can.

Dude, it's cool I'd love to bring you onto the team but the problem is that in order to get one of your guys I would invariably have to give up one of the other people from this site which isn't fair. I'll see if I can't swing a deal for some of the remaining non patsfans.com folks, though.

Actually, I was venting after discovering other patsfans were playing a game I already enjoyed. In the scheme of things, it's too late for all...When I first signed up I had no idea I would like the game as much. Lord Brady leaving probably would screw his owners team leaving him w/ a lvl 4 QB and I had forgotten I signed 3 years(HEY, I was a rookie!?!?!

) so he wants him for a while. ghost kick... same thing(stupid rookie just wanting a deal on a team

). I like my teams and mates, but I am the only Pats fan and even have to play with Jets, Giants and Colts fans.....

That's too bad. Yeah, you should definitely sign only 1 year deals in the beginning. Otherwise you could get locked into a bad deal long term.
So how long before we can start boosting? I want to start Stanely at level 10 when the new season begins!

It was free and curious at first, so I did not care about the contract lengths at first. I did dodge the "stupidity" bullet, as both my teams were in the playoffs and have very active owners and players. There's just something slimy about high-fiving a Colts or Jets fan after a win...

Boost is from day 1 season 2... still unannounced. Less than a week is all we know.. been 2 days

Question for you guys -- I've received two contracts tonight one for my FS and one for my SS, both are brand new lv 1 guys. The terms are as follows SS $ 500/day bonus $ 800 -- FS $ 307/day bonus $500 both are 1 yr contracts. Are either contract near what i should expect or am I getting screwed on both

for the time being, both are very good contracts...

after u hit about level 3 or 4 however, ur gonna want them upgraded

Over the length of the contract you'll be at a minor disadvantage since they are only 1 year you'll not be able to train at extreme for the entire first season during which time you should hit L10. You also won't be able to buy awesome new equipment.

They are perfectly reasonable contracts for a few weeks, though and it is kinda silly to be looking for huge contracts at L1 so hopefully your owner will work with you when you need a bigger contract.

The $500 per day contract should be enough for a level 1. The fact that it's a 1 year deal is good for you, because you're not locked into a cheap contract if your player suddenly improves. Most owners will renegotiate after you level up to keep you happy... but it depends on the owner. I would hate to be the guy that signed a 5 year deal for peanuts and then I can't afford to train because my owner is too cheap.

Stadium Upgrades will be processed tonight about an hour before day change so I can make sure everything gets created properly. You'll see your fancy new section graphics show up then.

Tonight is the cutoff for building new sections. After they have been processed tonight, any sections you build will not be built until next season's off-season.

This also means there will be a window of one day (tomorrow) in which you can add some new seats to your new sections before season tickets get sold.

Also, Season 2 will officially start TOMORROW (Friday), which will be day zero. That means season 2 boosts can start to be done tomorrow, and the per-season referral limit will be reset. Season 2 games will start on Saturday as planned.

League schedules will be generated tomorrow as well. I'll process season ticket sales tomorrow night after the schedules are generated.

Tomorrow's day change (not tonight) will also include training, salaries, contract expirations, etc.
