NBC Sportswriter picks Pats

Ventre on NBC Sports is picking the Pats to win it all next year. How can that be, with us not signing 5-6 free agents? (sarcasm)...

It's only April. If that same guy picked the Dolphins, people would come on and say, "It's only April." So my response is, it's only April. To be completely honest, I could care less who does and doesn't pick the Pats to win it all. It means nothing. Especially 5 months before the first game even kicks off.

Its April and the draft is still to come. That being said: I like the 49ers vs. the Bills in the SB.......

We just cemented the best DL till 2010 and we have 11 draft picks in a defensive bonanza draft. We also have TB and BB. Yeah, I like our chances to go to the SB.......... :rocker:

Let's wait until the draft and the summer cuts/signings. I do like the direction though - virtually our entire O-Line and D-Line is signed through '09/'10, we still have a lot of cap room, not many bad contracts on the team, most of our young players are young and will only get better, and let's not forget that the Pats will also find a few good rookies in the draft.

Based on recent signings, and a possible draft selections, I think that Detriot vs. LA in 2008 is a real possiblity.

Suddenly, now that the Pats did not win it all...it's in vogue to pick them to win it all....spare me.

As I've been saying, hard to see this dynasty ending before 2011.

It's "only" April, but the article was written February 10th, right after the Super Bowl!

But I must say the author's reasoning for picking the Pats remains as valid today as it was then. And hard to argue with. (Not that I would want to!)

not to diss Pioli, and it's just my OPINION, but to me the front office is 90%BB...he's got the Econ degree.

but if I'm Kraft, I'd pay Scott big money because he does what BB tells him to.

Yes the Great AZ Cardinals have predicted they will win it all this year. Again to much sun!!!
