WASSUP! I am from SMITHFIELD, VIRGINIA! Ham capitol of the world! My name is Bill. My nickname is HAMTOWN. Thus the Smithfield reference. I am not a season ticket holder. I am a life long fan. Well since I was about 5 I am now 37 years old. I LOVE THE PATS! THEY F-N! ROCK! I was born in Brunswick, Maine. My entire family is from Maine. Thats where the PATS tradition was bread into me. My grandfather played for the practice teams when we were the Boston Redskins! Anyway, I love the PATS, I have actually been to only 1 game inside the stadium ever! This year against the EAGLES! I have however made the 14+ hour drive, 1.5 hour flight when I had some spare change to many times to remember just to tailgate the game and watch if I was lucky at OUTLAW BARBECUE! GO PATS!:rocker:

Season-ticket holder since '98
Pats fan since I was a little kid (mid '80'S or so)

hello all, my name is Lou. I have been a die hard Pats fan since the AFL days. I'm a season ticket holder for the Buffalo Bills (don't hate me), just to see my beloved Patriots!!!

Hey all... Season ticket holder from 79 to 84. Held them through '84 gave them up because I couldn't stomach Tony Eason any longer. Saw the Mosi's Mooses era, Grogan sat in the 204 section in the old stadium. They didn't win many games back then, of course I gave up my tix the first year they go to the bowl. Glad I found this place and hope to have some intelligent football talk.:)

Live in Western Mass.

Grew up watching Pats games with my Dad
Have been a long distant fan for years!
Saw my first game in Gillette last year!!!!

I couldn't afford them either! Muko bucks for ****ty seats. You see more at home. I go once a year and alternate sons (single mom, 2 tickets) The game is hard follow in the higher seats(which is the majority) I find myself watching the Jumbo-tron, Cold, and paying insane money for absolutely everything. McDonald's loses its dollar menu, at least a fin for anything. 1 beer = $7.50! No wonder people start tailgating 6 hrs before! Oh, and if you do get a ticket; make sure to have at least $40.00 in cash on your person for parking..that is 'Not Included' in your expensive tickets.
I'm not trying to deter you, every Pats fan should see a game AT the stadium just for the experience. Our team is incredible, and we fans, as a group are fantastic. The atmosphere is absolutely electric and people around you are crazy and funny as all hell. Go at least one time if you can.

John from Connecticut (though I grew up in Maine). Been a Pats fan since the late 70's, when I became old enough to understand what was going on. Hard to believe I've never been to a game in Foxboro, though. Someday.....

From the UK have been a Patriots fan since 1986. Started following them after a friend at school told me about the NFL. First action I saw was the highlights of the Pats v Dolphins AFC Championship game. Followed the Pats on the basic premise of they were the underdogs, played in red & white like my favourite football team and had England in their name.

My friend was a Bears fan and loved telling me all about the Super Bowl XX massacre. I still can't believe how far the franchise has come.

Hello fellow NFL fans. I am a Steelers fan that originally joined this forum for "vengence" on Pats fans that got under my skin earlier this year. But, I have decided to be an honest Football fan first, and not give your team a hard time. I have followed the rules of your forum thus far, and intend on talking the Game, and since we tend to play each other at least once a year, sometimes twice (like 3 years ago when you crushed us in our house in the AFC Title Game) I would enjoy sensable, x's and o's football talk.

I do use this same Screen name in the Steelers Forum I am part of. I won't hide from debate. And No, I don't think Tom Brady Stinks, I do however think there are a couple other QBs in the History of the NFL that are better. But that's all debatable. Tom has 3 rings, that will never be taken away from his carreer. The man has done fantastic things.

Oh, I hate your safety. But I guess I'd like him if he was on my team. Kind of like Neon Deon, hated him on other teams, secretly wished he was on mine.

Anyway. That's my introduction.

Fan since notre dame grad david givens joined the Pats, I am from Connecticut, and remain a die hard yanks fan. The reason I like the pats is that My cousins from mass introduced me to football. I Live in NY, its a hard time.

I am in Tacoma WA so I do not have seasons tickets.
I need to sign up for Direct-TV next year.

I'm from Nebraska/South Dakota (not far from where Russ Hochstein played and grew up and at about the same time), went to college in Pennsylvania, where most of my best friends turned out to be from Mass. It was at that time, mid-90s, that I first began to follow the Pats. It's been a pleasure ever since.

I still consider myself mostly a college football fan first and foremost because of my Nebraska roots, but I appreciate good football at any level when I see it, and I've had a lot of fun these last few years telling naysayers to watch out for the Patriots. I rooted as hard for the Pats Sunday as any pro team I've ever watched. I'll continue to root hard from now on.

Also, the more I read about Belichick - and the more the media rips on him - the more I like him. I never really knew that much about him before this season, but he's probably my favorite coach in sports right now. I hope he and Brady go 19-0 every year from now until the end of their careers together.

Hi folks!
30 year Pats fan here, since pre-season 1978. (We all know what happened that year.) RIP Darryl Stingley.
Held season tickets from 92'-98' sec. 202

I live in NH with the lady I loving refer to as my first wife, and my 2 young (budding Pats fans) boys.
To me Sundays from September through January, with a busy grill, Guinness and Bass ale in hand, my kids with me on the couch and the 50" is just about as close to Heaven as you can come to on earth.

It still stings and it will for a while...
Sometimes the best team doesn't win.. Nuff' said on that...

BTW - thanks Ian for activating my account so quickly!

So on to 08'!!! GO PATS!!

Not a season ticket holder, but making an earnest effort to attend a game a year at Gillette (Buffalo this year).
Patriots fan since childhood; the first season I remember is 1-15. I also remember having to crowd around a small radio with my brothers during home games in the dark days of Hugh Millen.

Live in Arizona... went to see them a few years back in ASU stadium (before the new stadium was built) when they beat the sorry home team, Cardinals... been a fan for almost 10 years....
