Re: Such A Shame

It is such a shame that a promising young sportswriter
such as John Tomase
should imagine that the way to advance his career ... to get out of Dodge ...
was to piss all over the fans who used to buy his newspaper to read his stuff.

I have to agree. I don't care to read Tomase now. I have lost interest in what he has to say.

This event reminded me of the political scene where you drop dirt-bombs right before an election. It doesn't even matter if the dirt is proven false later.

The other day I saw something about Obama's contributions being "Tied to Taliban money". Of course it's not going to be true, but the damage is done just by dropping the bomb. The writer has no reputation after that except as a company wad. So he'll continue to make a good living, but he has no soul, no sense of what is right or wrong, no way to determine truth from fiction, or even care.

Re: Fire Tomase and his Editor Tomorrow

You guys are approaching this the wrong way

Simply find out when Tomase is up for review for a raise and then we cite an "unnamed source" on this website saying that he's been embezzeling funds from the Herald.

That's as fair as what he did - so he really couldn't complain.

Don't be so sure about Barrack "Hussein" Obama, pal.

Re: Such A Shame

To think that all the accolades, the recognition, the admiration
will be denied him
merely because he is such a deranged
... delusional ...
traitorous
wretch
who now is fit only for employment by the NY Post or Daily News.

It's an e.e. cummings post! :D

Re: Fire Tomase and his Editor Tomorrow

I wondered if Tomase sat on this story until the eve of the superbowl or not

Email you "Fire Thomase" requests here:

http://www.bostonherald.com/about/contact/

I've already sent 4 under 4 different emails.

This may seem childish, but honestly.....this SOB put a damper on my SB week.

The thing that hurts the most is he's supposed to be one of ours.

In the immortal words of Michael Corleone:

"I love you Fredo.......but you broke my heart........."

Looking forward to doing some fishing on the lake with you John.
