"Expert" picks...

This is such an enjoyable topic...let's get started...

Surprisingly, Golic picks the Pats.

And, all others so far on ESPN take the Pats. ooops...the Sunday Countdown Gang? Hmmmm...let's see...they ALL pick the Pats...wait. One of them picks the Giants. Guess who???

I don't understand , why is that ?

Does he just dislike the Pats or is there a story behind it ?

I think its fashionable to pick for the Giants. Too many people are picking the Pats so they're probably sitting there asking themselves 'why not?'

In 2003, he said the Pats "hate their coach." Then on the field after the Super Bowl, BB was asked by Berman to come over to their set for an interview, Jackson goes to shake his hand, and BB says "FU."

I assume that would be the issue.

Edit--BB was right in this situation. Jackson trashed him without talking to anyone or basing it on anything.

I think hes butt hurt since BB told him to go **** himself when he tried to congratulate him after a SB win, this happened after Jacksons dumb ass said that the team hated BB after he released Lawyer Milloy..

Actually, Jackson took the Pats....MIKE DITKA...took the Giants...BIG, BIG surprise...I am shocked...

Thanks ,man . I forgot about this incident.

Someone needs to keep a tally on experts picks ... when they suck too much they should be removed from their job ... for sucking .. they get paid to be good and smart ... Tom Jackson is neither good or smart.

More specifically, Jackson's quote occured on ESPN right after the 31-0 Buffalo loss to open the 03 season. Milloy had a sack or two after being cut by BB a few days earlier.......he was defensive captain at the time.

Everyone on "Inside the NFL" picked the Pats to win and big except for Costas. Of course Costas used solid logic in that he probably thinks the Pats will win, but if the Giants actually pull off the upset he will look like a genius for picking them. I firmly believe there should be a federal law barring Bob Costas from making football picks.

Yes he did say F*** Y** to Jackson after the SB. Read the book Patriot Reign, it goes into detail about that and a few other funnies about SB 38.
