Re: TMZ.com has Brady Scoop

It's at around 15:40, FYI.

Yeah if you scroll through the bookmarks on the right it's the one that says Play Here 0:15:27.

Brady's Foot - what 2+2 = for me

I've been reading a little bit about a broken bone in his foot and taking pain killers (KFFL). I read about it maybe happening in the Jacksonville game (Patriots Planet). I read about him looking sluggish (here).

That all adds up for me. Breaks something late in the Jacksonville game. Plays against SD, needs pain killers so he looks sluggish and is decent but not himself which would be a likely result of a foot issue. The sluggishness and shaky play would have shown up later had it happened in the SD game.

Despite words like broken, etc, this scenario plays out OK. He probably wouldn't be 100% for the SB but would be no worse than how he ended the SD game which was still pretty decent. In fact, no worse is way pessimistic, with two weeks he may not be 100% but he would be a whole lot better.

Although all of the first paragraph is message board speculation, it all adds up especially the pain killers and the noted sluggishness.

Re: Brady's Foot - what 2+2 = for me

Why would you even spread speculation like this? And if this is the case how come nobody saw him in a boot last week and everything was fine at practice?

Why are you so worried about what people think? The man gave his opinion on what MIGHT have happened. That is what this board is for. Honestly some of you people need to get lives.

Nothing that is said on this board will have any outcome on ANYTHING the pats do or say.

This board has some of the worst homer trolls on the planet! If you dont sit around talking about how great the pats are 23 hours per day you guys are out in droves.

The man said it was speculation.

Because it's a message board and I made it clear it was speculation.

Re: Brady's Foot - what 2+2 = for me

you dont know what your talking about .nobody including your sources has any clue .
I don't have "sources". Just a combination of things that make sense to me. How early on did people say Brady looks a little different ? Well . . .

Re: Brady's Foot - what 2+2 = for me

I've read while searching the internet, that some believe that it wasnt even Tom Brady, that it was Matt Damon on stilts, another report saying that it wasnt even Tom Brady's leg, it was Patrick Duffy.

Re: TMZ.com has Brady Scoop

When asked about it this morning on the soccer mom's show I was a little concerned by his pause. But, I believe the leg brace or whatever it is just precautionary.

I noticed the pause too. He could've just been surprised at the question, maybe he thought no one noticed anything because he didn't get any questions about in the postgame press conference. Or maybe the pause was to frame his answer, he wanted to be careful at how he phrased things. But yeah, the pause was a little long.

What I'm waiting for is Belichick's press conference where some poor soul will ask him about it.

Mediot: Coach, there was a picture taken of Tom wearing a walking boot, is the injury to his ankle?
Belichick: It's there on the injury report.
Mediot: Yes, but it says "right side of body-probable."
Belichick: ...
Mediot: Can you give us anything more specific than that?
Belichick: It is what it is.
Mediot: What does that statement mean in relation to Brady's injury?
Belichick: Look, we're preparing for the Giants. Right now we're concentrating on the Giants, and that's what I'm focused on, that's what Tom's focused on.
Mediot: Damnit Bill, is it his foot or ankle or his toe is it a sprain is it shattered into a million pieces JUST GIVE US SOMETHING
Belichick: It is what it is.
Mediot: *head explodes*

Re: Brady's Foot - what 2+2 = for me

I posted in the game thread I didn't think he was getting his feet set properly even when he had time and room to do so. I didn't know he had a foot problem and I have no idea when it may have happened. Maybe Rivers wasn't the only courageous player out there.

Let's get one FACT straight, this board is not for idle speculation on anything that enters your mind. It is for INTELLIGENT discussion. Of course as Pats fans, we think the Pats are great. If you didn't, you couldn't be a Pats fan. In all honesty, making a statement that SPECULATES that Brady was on pain killers, is the worst post I have ever read and no matter what anyone thinks, there is no logic in that statement. No athlete would take pain killers during a game in this day & age. Maybe in the 1970's, but not now.

Because more and more this is becoming a board full of 16 year old squealing teenage girls...

Please don't ruin their theatrics with logic...

Two weeks between games is always tough on a fanbase. The drama queens inhabiting this board these days should make it close to unbearable.

I predict at least 4 Brady theory threads a day for the duration...

Re: Brady's Foot - what 2+2 = for me

I've heard, as of the last 3 minutes, breaking reports that Tom Brady has upgraded.... from pain killers to good ole fashioned crack cocaine, more at 11.

Does Brady's injury change your mind about the extra week off?

I HATE the 2 week period you have to wait till the Super Bowl begins, especially when your favorite team is a participant, BUT this year and with Brady's injury it appears its a gift from above and I don't mind it after hearing this shocking news.

Well I'm not a 16 year old girl but he obviously has something and likely had it early or before the game based on his play - we all wondered why he was below average (for him).

Breaking News: Tom Brady's Injury

This Just In:

Tom Brady supposedly hurt his foot while shoving it up the collective azzhole of Sand Diego.

Speculation is that he will need a penile split after the Superbowl

Mo, it is obvious to me that there are some Pats fans who LOVE gossip & speculation. I mean, did you see the those who foolishly made phone calls last week to do their own investigating regarding the Moss story? What could these people have been thinking?

This is not a reality show here folks. The worst part of the under 30 generation is that they actually believe that the MTV (fake) & other reality shows reflected a way of life. They were just TV shows and had nothing to do with how anyone should live. As a matter of fact, they reflected how people should NOT live.

It is not ok for any of us to "try to get to the bottom" of these stories. Do what normal people do and WAIT for the facts to come out....gee, what a novel idea!

I've always liked the bye week, there's too much going on to squeeze it into one normal week.
