I can offer you a contract to come clean my toilets… it doesn’t mean you will take it.

The same way Bill and Bob offered Tom a contract for 2020. If the contract is crap, or substantially less then one can get on the open market it’s worthless. It’s a gracious but meaningless gesture.

The lauhable part of this “fleeced” conversation is fans were dreaming of multiple first round picks years earlier and what they got back for Matt Cassel was exactly what they got back for Jimmy.

The market determines worth, not fans on Patsfans.com, not the idiots on WEEI. The Pats took the best offer. The notion that BB took less is laughable idiocy from the haters. Why… why would he? Just dumb.

I don't have an anti-Bill agenda.
I have a Bill went off the tracks opinion, over his last 3-4 years.
He went from the guy who turned everything he touched to gold, to failing at mostly everything, in his GM role.
Bill the GM was Bill the HC worst nightmare. free agent decisions. draft picks. roster decisions/cap management. the league was changing and Bill for the first time was behind the curve rather than ahead.
Simply said, I find these statements to be facts, not an agenda.

You were calling to fire BB entering the 2014 season on the old boston.com board because the team had “no talent.”

The chorus became louder until “we’re onto Cincinnati” happened, then you, ZBellino and the rest who suggested this looked foolish.

After that forum closed and Pats kept winning you reinvented yourself, but the resentment never left.

I believe that BB wanted to be fired the last few years. That way he gets all his money.

Kraft began to openly criticize Belichick and take power away after BB told Kraft that Brady was on the decline and then Brady wins # 7. Youre right, BB had no plan post Brady except Stidman. Maybe BB thought that he could get Jimmy back.

I said AJ Brown was coming here a month or more before the draft and provided a link proving it. Even without Brown they’d probably still win the AFCEast.

The posts here are time stamped porkchop.

Just admit you were wrong and move on…
