OK, apologies if someone mentioned this and I missed it, but at some point during the game, we heard the same exact sound affect that we heard during the Indy games that raised a lot of hackles, and which many viewed as proof that the Colts are piping crowd noise through their PA.

I still think that the Colts are guilty as charged, but it does appear that the sound glitch was exactly was CBS indicated it was: an audio problem on their part heard only on TV, and not a smoking gun.

Yea, it was broadcast. I was at the game and didn't hear anything out of the ordinary.

I heard it too, but figured it was the thunder affecting my dish, or the feed back from INDY... windy 2night, might have carried.......:p

watch what you say about stuff like that around here. Don't you know that CBS was covering for the colts because the entire NFL has a giant conspiracy against the patriots?

I heard it too when they had a shot of Maroney sitting on the bench.

CBS's broadcast was horrible. The signal kept freezing for most of the game. Are they outsourcing to India or something?

Actually it was a reverb noise but not of the crowd...just a modulating noise.

I thought that might have been Comcast. I switched to the low-definition channel and didn't get the saem problem (of course, I also got a lousy picture ...)

Any word from any of the ushers at Foxboro?

:D

Hey Arrrrr

i'M SURE ALL YOU FELLOW JETS FANS WILL WELCOME YOU BACK TROLL

Isn’t there enough Patriot posts on the Colt message board to keep you busy?

I mean I know the Pats are the most exciting team of all time ..……but talk about infatuation.

The Colts incident was a case of the crowd noise audio - and ONLY the crowd noise audio - skipping. The audio of the announcers wasn't affected at all.

That wasn't the case with the audio problems I heard this week.

Incorrect. The play by play/colour went on just fine and the EXACT same odd noise was heard in the background. It was the EXACT same situation.

On one hand, the fact that the sound was clearly NOT pumped in crowd noise does NOT clear the Colts of the charge. "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence". However, surely Pats fans are reasonable enough to admit that the sound they heard in the broadcast from the RCA dome that everyone jumped all over as being proof of something was blown out of the water when it happened to your own team last game.

It was a broadcasting problem, just like CBS said it was.

Maybe CBS planted the sound in the Patriots game to make their cover up seem more realistic!! aha!! You can't be naive enough to think it's COINCIDENCE that the noise appeared again with the Colts' biggest rival!

Good point...
