I have every game except the 1st Jets game, anyone have an idea where I may find it ?

I have every game this season (and all Pats playoff games from last season) either on DVD or my computer. The commercials are edited out, as is the halftime and the quality is usually HD level. They're easily obtainable if you have a cable modem and don't mind leaving it on overnight the night after the game.

It doesn't stop me from buying NFL official videos.

i do have cable modem, and would NOT mind leaving it on,

could u PM me as well with the info, would love to actually have the games to watch whenever....

thanks

I would love to have that site too, please PM me also

Where do you download them?

Some torrent site?

Not sure why the secrecy. These football games don't run in repeats, and have little economic value, unlike movies / tv shows.

Sure, they're still covered by copyright, but no one's getting sued for downloading an old game and watching it on their home computer.

Please PM me!

Or, can I pay some small amount of money to have the games burned onto DVD(s) and mailed to me after the season is over? I'm a huge fan and don't want to forget this season.

There is a guy that goes by the name Vabeachguy, he has a massive setup of dvd recorders and he records all the top teams in the league every year then when the season's over he goes to the teams message board and sells them, I am sure he could get himself into all kinds of legal crap doing this, but he sent me a free copy of the Colts and Pats AFCCG from last year and he has two sound tracks that you can easily switch back and forth to, one is the tv and the other is the local radio broadcast, I didn't buy the whole set but really enjoyed the way it was put together with the two soundtracks, im sure he will be here soon, and no its not me that does this, I have nothing to do with this guy...

there are many torrent sites, but here is one that specializes in football.

sorry if this is inappropriate, mods -- if so, just delete.

if you don't know about torrents, post in here and I'll explain further.

edit: one of the files I looked at was 2.5 gig.

please pm me

pm you w/what??

dude, I just linked it ^^

for some reason it doesnt open when i try to play the game?

yeah, ok -- see, this is why I asked if people needed info about torrents.

I know there's no way you d/l'd that whole file already.

have you ever used torrents?

no i have not any help would be great

Ten yard torrents is pretty good, I've never come across malware from them; but there's tons of sites that ain't so very good. If you should download a torrent and it tries to do anything other than activate a bittorrent client such as Azeures or Edonkey its trying to infect your computer.

ok, basically what you do is d/l and install some software to use torrents --- there's lots of different versions of these clients, but I use utorrent.
bitcomet, like that guy mentioned, is another, but I've never used it.
google around a little for info on the programs because some can install crapware on your comp --- I think there's one that's infamous for this, but I forget which.
another popular one would be azureus, but you need java installed for that.

once you get that program all set up you're ready to search out some torrent sites.
torrent sites are like phone books listing thousands of 'trackers' which your torrent program uses to d/l the file from others who have it already, or who are currently also d/l'ing it.
so, the tenyardtorrents site is just a listing of specific trackers people post for various nfl games.

one thing you might also want to google and install before you get involved in any of this is a program called peerguardian2 which supposedly screens out some ip addresses from d/l'ing files from you.
see, torrents are different from some other p2p because while you are d/l'ing, you are also uploading the same file to other people who can see your ip address.
so, if some organization wanted to find out who was stealing dane cook's hbo specials, they could just activate a torrent and see which ip addresses are uploading the file.

if you get all hot for torrents and try other sites, just be careful about checking file extensions and file sizes, and try to stick to reliable sites because people can post all kinds of files and name them anything.

Anyone know of any direct download sites to get Pat's game? I use one site that has an NFL thread, but they only post about 1/3 of the Pats games. I'm not a big fan of torrents.

I use ten yard torrents to download all my games as well and I have never had a problem with the site or content. I usually download games the next day though, that way it only takes a little while. If I wait or forget until the next week, it takes me forever. I wish more people would seed!! LOL

I use Bittorent 6.0 to download and it works perfect for me!
