Worst fans: Colts or Squeelers?

All teams have great and lousy fans. However, IMHO, fans in Philly are the wost by far. The police needed to put a police station in the vet to deal with the fans. Jets and miami fans are pretty bad also.

I don't find colts or steeler fans the worst. They are lucky to have great organizations and teams.

Re: Worst fans- Colts or Squeelers?

Worst in what way? I lived in Pittsburgh for a few years and I can tell you that they have GREAT fans.

I totally agree. Generally a rabid, loyal, knowledgeable fan base...but absolutely awful trolls. Change the title of this thread to worst trolls and Pittsburgh is right up there.

I know i'll be bannded shortly because none of you can coherently argue any point either me or my brethren make.....

now that's some wordcraft right there...

Re: Worst fans- Colts or Squeelers?

Actually, most steeler fans are not to bad.

I don't know if he meant banned or braindead..but in his case, what's the difference?

Re: Worst fans- Colts or Squeelers?

I'm sure many Colts fans are okay. They are too classy to invade another teams fan site. The same is true of most Steeler fans.

But if your question is which is worse, the Colts or Steeler fans who post here, it is the Colts fans, far and away. Steeler fans come around when their team is about to play the Patriots, which is understandable. Fans of lots of teams do that.

Colts fans who post here seem to have nowhere else to go. They are here all-year round, yapping and whining like recently-castrated chihuahuas. Yippity yap, yippity yip.

For those who were members here back in 2002, they are like the Raider and Jets fans. Remember RS1918, Ibleedgreen and the rest?

Yippity yip, yippity yap.
Dude? Lots of fans from every team invade upcoming opponent sites. Particularly div rival sites. Especially if your team isn't looking half bad at the time. After that you have the history angle against any number of teams. It is what it is. I'm not sure it's a bad thing?

What is it today with calling people idiots for holding a differing opinion? Is it said out of ignorance or an attempt to bolsters one's own image?

Just for the record, there is nothing wrong with making a generalization based on observation. It is quite possible to make accurate GROUP generalizaitons (British in general are more formal than Latinos, Asians in general are more polite than French, etc).

The problem is when you take group characteristics and try to them apply the group characteristic to individuals.

For instance, fourth graders are generally smarter than second graders. That is a safe statement. But to say JamesHarrisonEatsBabies is smarter than any given second grader would be wrong.

One of my favorite sayings of all time is from Mark Twain: No generalization is worth a damn, and that includes this one.

I tell you though, nothing quite clears them out like whipping thier ass on Sundays. We've barely heard a peep outta you guys all year ;)

I understand. You're right. It's like that. I'm certain there have been spirited discussions on this board with all of NE's div rivals. But not so much lately.

Well even if we get beat this weekend we can always fall back on the cheating thing. You could put up 1000 more points in the next few games and it won't make that go away.
That's the beauty of Spygate.......all the PREVIOUS achievments will always be in question no matter what you guys do THIS year. As far as many of us are concerned the 2007 Patriots are going after the franchise's first legit Lombardi trophy.

New week, another troll trying to get a rise from us.

Should be a good game.

worst in what way? worst as in talk a lot of ****, or worst as in don't know jack about the game, fair-weather, etc.

because no matter what criteria one uses, Cincinnati fans are clearly the worst.

I would have to say the squeelers. They are as bad as the Bronco fans who never lost any game in their minds.
Actually some Colt fans seem ok.

I feel the opposite. I can't handle Colts fans at all. I find other teams fans to be some what tolerable.

Some Colts fans suck and are unreasonable, but the Colts can actually back up their arrogance. Steelers fans are far worse, even though their squad lost to the Pats 7 of the last 8 times it's played them.

i think the team with the best QB has the best fans....anyone wish to compare their qb with big ben? first four years....bens not even up to four years year total....

any takers?

plot spoiler....bradys stats SUCK compared to big bens on his first four years....fyi......

WTF are you looking at. TD's are comparable . Completion % is Comparable. Brady threw for more yards and Ben threw more picks. Brady didn't have a running game and didn't start in his rookie year. If you use Brady's first 4 years as a starter than he blows Ben away. Not to mention Brady had 3 SB in his first 4 years as a starter and 2 SB MVP. Unlike Bens 22.9% performance in his SB.

both of them

The Raider fans will always be the worst. They are dormant right now because they've been so bad for so long but give them a whiff of .500 and like a bad virus they'll be back in force telling you how great they are.

Chargers fans are pretty obnoxious.

I would say Colts fans over Steelers fans. (that could be because I despise the Colts)
