Houston Antwine should be there already.

Ftft

Vince is a hall of fame caliber player. He is worthy of enshrinement on his own merits.

As for HA and all the other worthy candidates from the Patriots past, put the blame squarely on the shoulders of Ron Borges and the other new England regional scribes who had a spot on the committee

They didnt / Borges doesn't care enough to fight for them

Odd because Ron advocated successfully for Tip

BTW, who the hell is Terrell Davis?

Rushed for 2,000 yards? So did Jamal Lewis

Big playoff performer? So is Jim Plunkett

Tip was a first ballot hof'er regardless of what Borges said or didn't say... Yet he didn't get elected in 2007...

Wasn't until the next year that he was voted in...

So, yeah, I stand by my statement.

I'm not disagreeing with you; simply pointing out that when Borges made the case for Tip before the committee, his evidence was so overwhelming there was no way they could keep Andre out.

Ron could do the same for Gino, or Houston. He wrote a good piece on Antwine, but just lamented over the stupid excuses for ignoring him.

Tell that to Borges. He's left the heroes of Sullivan stadium out to dry.
All the local scribes are complicit with the false laughingstock narrative.

Even if Billy Sullivan were a child molester (he wasn't), nothing justifies the false laughingstock narrative, or endless, eternal denigration of the team.

Speaking of snubs - in the NFL Top 100 how is it that 56 didn't make the list for linebackers? The man was insanely good, had more finesse than any linebacker I can remember, averaged 10 sacks per season (even with injuries), plus he could cover and wasn't a liability against the run.
