So how do you grade this year’s draft?

And yet you read it and posted the link here. Thanks?
To prove how worthless all these draft grades are.

One states that Miami had the worst draft and the next sports outlet states that Miami had an A.

I didn’t watch the draft, but I didn’t realize that CB from Clemson Andrew Booth slid down to the second round because of hernia surgery that prevented him from being properly evaluated.

This is the kind of player and position we should have targeted.
He's 6'-0" which is too tall for the 2022 Pats Board. Our CBs are 5'8" and 5'10", the ideal size to go up against 6'2" - 6'4" receivers.

I am stll studying it. Will let you know in 3 years

It’s dumb to evaluate a roster based on one game.
If you cannot figure out that Buffalo is the team to beat then I cant help you.

The Bills vs Pats 12/26/21 game had the same pattern. 5 of 8 NE drives lasted less than 2 minutes.

5’11” Ty Law says Yo, what about me?

And remember poor drafting Belichick all agog at expensively moving up in the second round to get Vanderbilt’s CB Joejuan Williams, the 6’4” slowpoke?

Revis was 5 - 11.

Most stud CBs are no taller than 6 - 1. A 2 inch difference.

Jairre Alexander is 5 - 10
Tredavious White is 5 - 11
Marlon Humprey is 6 - 0
Marshon Lattimore is 6 - 0
Xavien Howard is 6 - 1

When the 2022 Patriots are compared to the Patriots of Thuney’s rookie year, which won the SB, one realizes how many talent deficits are on the current team: no CB1 and no NT for starters.
You’re right. But OL was a talent need too.

Stueber in the 7th might end up being a steal. If he solidifies the RT after Brown leaves (or if/when he's injured) allowing Onwenu to stay put at RG, that would be great. I don't put much stock in any of our backup Tackles right now. We're going to need a long term LT soon.

Please send your resume to BB as it appears he could use your expertise
I see this type of response often and I really don't care for it. The poster you're responding to was asked for his opinion on this year's draft and gave it. That's why we're here isn't it?

My bad. I thought of that after I posted my response.

What I'm waiting for is a grade for the draft coverage. I've never seen so many people in one place doing nothing but watching a big screen full of more nothing. If they weren't standing many of those fans probably would have fallen asleep. Did people have to pay for that?

So he's like a sprinter that lost a couple of fingers in a boating accident that overcame his deficiency. Cool
Coming off shoulder surgery on BOTH shoulders.

I think the only reason he's so shifty and fast during returns is he doesn't want to get hit. Which is great, I guess.

Does anyone else see the humor that the thread was started by a user name of Jones.

Yes the draft grades are BS. But the public relations and bad press coverage hurts the team. It gives the appearance that the pats are the new laughing stock of the league (the new Cleveland Brown's)

1. McVay's viral video
2. Odell's trolling
3. Kiper and McShay's draft grades
4. Free agency inactivity
5. Gronk saying pats are cheap
6. Brady not thanking Pats during retirement
7. Brady leaving the team
7. Getting blown out in the playoffs with the bills not punting once.

All in all the trajectory appears to be downward and it may impact whether veteran players want to join this team.
If the Pats finish 3rd or fourth in the division next year (which is definitely a possibility)...I could definitely see BB moving on , either his own decision or Kraft nudging him. Buffalo, Miami and yes even the Jets are on upward trajectories and Pats I believe are heading in the wrong direction.
