Patriots HOF nominees

Should be Vrabel, then Vince. Surprised Mankins is on this quickly, deserving but he should wait a while. Vince is the best player of the 3, but Vrabel has 3 rings and a very important part of all 3.

Vince was an 11-year Patriot, one of the very best at his position for 8 of those years... He deserves to be chosen before Vrabel.

Close. He spent his last two years in Houston.

You're right; I forgot those last two Houston seasons to try to help BOB's defense... Correction made, thanks.

Exactly what I was saying, as I watched a perfect season slip through your "get rich to this" hands.

In Man in the Arena, Brady said Asante looked like he was more concerned with staying in bounds than he was with catching the ball…Adalius Thomas also had a missed pick on that drive

Too early for Vrabel
Should be Vrabel
Senseless.

I compare Mike to Steve Zabel, who likewise came here from another team to make a huge contribution, including with the [should be] championship 1976 team. Also, likewise, had 10 career receptions as a tight end (with Philly). Team HOF?!?!?!?!?!

Bruschi. Harrison. Faulk. This is nothing but a popularity contest.

Adams obviously belongs in ahead of all of the above.

Tatupu is at least all their equals.

Drew Bledsoe played here nine seasons, going to three Pro Bowls. In Pats' Hall.

Russ Francis played here eight seasons, going to three Pro Bowls. Not in Pats' Hall.

Bledsoe is at the level of maybe Marc Bulger, or Neil Lomax.

Francis was better than Dave Casper, who is in Canton.

I don't remember that particular missed pick... But I do remember the missed pick by Rodney just before the 2-minute warning, and another by Stomper Meriweather some time after the helmet miracle...

I agree that Mosi & Russ Francis, as well as Adams, deserve more consideration for the Pats HOF than they've been receiving.

Asante Samuel thinks Bill Belichick personally selects finalists to the Patriots Hall of Fame. This is all we need to know.

Also, you lost Super Bowl 42 for us, maybe that's why.

That might be funny to Samuel but I'm not laughing, what a wise ass. If the Pats had a Hall of Infamy he'd certainly qualify.

As for this year, Wilfork all the way.

Samuel, like many opponents (and a growing number of patsfans posters) is obsessed with trying to rip BB at every turn. It’s becoming sad and I wish he (and the posters) good luck in their journey to becoming relevant.

Wilfork was a force. In fact between his Super Bowl wins, Wilfork dominated more than any non-Brady patriot.

Looks like Parcells has no chance of winning any fan vote. I agree he's not a Patriots HOFer but he's an all-time great HC. He never had a HOF quarterback and he still won everywhere he went.
I voted for Vince!

Parcells had a .500 record with the Patriots. And abandoned his team during Super Bowl week. And showed utter disrespect to Terry Glenn who led the team in receptions in both 1998 and 1999. And was a douche bag to Belichick when he stepped down with the NYJ. And never won a playoff game with the Cownoys. Let the Giants honor him.. Not here.

Lets get one of Julius Adams, Fairbanks or Smith in. Sadly both Adams and Fairbanks are dead, but they probably have wives or siblings that are old who would love to see them honored. All due respect to the more overall worthy names, but let's make sure the clock doesn't run out on some people that would get in eventually anyway.

After what Bill pulled here before the super bowl he should be removed from consideration. We very likely would have lost regardless to the superior Packers team, but it didn't help at all. I appreciated the foundation he laid which would make us champions later, but that was never his intention. In fact the intention was to have a coach who would lead up to the promised land to stay out of New England.

And he stole Curtis Martin from us. All-time great coach and deserves to be in the pro football HOF but he's a Giant.
