Mac working out with receivers in Tampa

If JJ Taylor is going to "click", this would be a GREAT year for him to do it. We need a plan B for if White doesn't recover well enough, and while Montgomery is a low risk signing, I'm not sold on him for that role full time.

Agholor and Jonnu are gonna surprise us this season.

I expect both to make solid 2nd-year-as Pats-receivers jump.
Hopefully they aren't paying attention to Pats fans and media about last year; no human being could rise up under that much misery and despair pointed in their direction.

As long as they understand that all their wins were mirages they can enjoy their offseason.

I saw a comment on Twitter that said Agholor is a Tampa native and this field is by where he went to high school, and Agholor filmed it, so it sounds like Agholor is likely the one who set this up. Interesting since so many of us have discussed him as a potential trade candidate. Seems he feels he is comfortable.
He's not a trade candidate, that's pure speculation.

I’m sorry, but the more I think about it, Parker, with Agholor on the outsides has me excited. Throw in smart, shifty guys like Bourne and Myers and you’ve got yourself a pretty damn good group. THEN throw in Henry, and hopefully an ascending Rham and your passing game is going to be pretty damn legit. If Jonnu can somehow manage to catch on? Money! Speaking of money, with the trade for Parker, the Pats have shown they’ll find a way to make it work if needed when the moment comes. We’re gonna be fine on that side of the ball if the offense doesn’t regress due to Mac and the new OC.

There is no full-time position for a backup 3rd down receiving back.

As you indicated, Montgomery is and option. So is Stevenson, who would obviously get more reps as a receiver if White is out.

I'm fine if Belichick chooses to keep White for this role. However, I could also see Montgomery in that role, much as Bolden was.

Finally, the roster spot for #5 bench sitting RB may not be filled (as it was last year), or may have other candidates competing for the roster spot.

I suggest that Belichick may draft a RB in the 4th or 5th to replace Harris on the roster in 2023. In any case, such a RB is likely to good enough to fight Taylor for a roster spot (competition is a good thing).

Jonnu struggled his first year with Tennessee then the next year, he became a legit threat. I'm hoping the same happens here!

I think it's kinda funny that the team's top 4 WRs are half UDFAs (Bourne, Meyers) and half 1st-round draft picks but from other teams (Parker with Miami, Agholor with Philadelphia)

Agholor said Mac looked leaner....

But let's pump the brakes a bit here...Stiddy hosted workouts last summer too...just sayin'...

What brakes need to be pumped? I don’t see anyone saying it’s Super Bowl now that they are doing it. They are tossing a football around and having fun.

never forget, for him, its a contract year...

Stidham sucks…I could have hosted that camp and it would be the same thing…

I think the ball is in Mac's court and hopefully he expresses himself more freely, confidently and accurately in the pass game . There should be opportunities now and teams will need to allocate two safeties for our pass game which means they cannot get a free pass at Oline and opens up our run game even more. Add to the fact that Meyers and Bourne can line up in slot and possibly have more YAC.

If Jonnu gets his assignments properly and performs as expected and rham and white take care of backfield as a receiving back tandem , defenses are gonna be really split on who to cover .

Suddenly you have a pretty decent offensive line. I wouldn't be surprised if Wolf and Groh drafted an offensive lineman or edge player in round 1. Jermaine Johnson is my bet for round 1 .

The moment where Thad ate the cookie totally changed my opinion of him. Lol

You guys want any tartar sauce? Lmao. The way he said it still cracks me up

He’s the Alex Moran of the Patriots.
