You know what else he said, you dumb****? Belichick feels the best statistic to look at when evaluating a running game is...

YARDS PER CARRY.

Felger is a moron for trying to peg the 4.1 team ypc on Maroney when he is averaging 4.7 yards every time he touches it.

Just like you.

I know, everyone is a MORON unless they bow down to the throne of GLASS Maroney and kiss his ass. Puhleaze.

Dwight Freeney's injury is even more disappointing...the Colts really rely on this piece of glass to anchor their defense, along with that other piece of tafetta, Sanders. In comparison, the Maroney brouhaha pales.

Last time I checked, Freeney and Sanders were winning a super bowl last february and playing in the pro bowl the week after. Glass won't sniff a pro bowl this year, while we will all be lucky if he is not on the shelf for the super bowl game. Comparing pro bowlers to glass is like comapring a mercedes to a ford. Let's get serious.

I smell an Indy fan...anyone else smell that?

Humpty Freeneyting isn't helping the Colts anywhere this season...neither is Foggy Sanders, the 9 games played a year wonder

Wow, you guys are unreal. So unless I worship every pats player and talk sh*t about every colts player, than I must be a colts fan? Give it up. Sorry, but this thread is about the DISSAPOINTING Glass Maroney.

This thread is dumb. There are some players that play better in goal line situations but not else where there are some players that are better when there is a lot of room. So WR don't play in the Red zone because they are fast but not physical. Doesn't mean they are not useful to the team in certain situations, and a good coach uses them for their strengths not their weaknesses

All this effort because you want the team to draft a guy with CHICKEN legs? A RB that's 6'3 205 with chicken legs? Nice mission. Those scrawny little twigs will snap like toothpicks the second he steps on the field with pros. You really wanna replace the 'glassman' with the world's thinnest calves? That guy could be a friggin' ROCKETTE with those legs. Im telling you the guy's 6'3, and atleast 4 1/2 feet of that is leg. Thin ones. :D

Wow!! No!!! I'm not knocking YOUR Maroney jihad...YOU are knocking MY Freeney/Sanders jihad....YOU are going completely beserk over a Patriots player that is in NO WAY considered to be as important to the Patriots success2 as Freeney/Sanders is to the Colts success. And then YOU go off half ****ed at ME accusing me of attacking YOUR Maroney jihad when it's YOU that just went full blown bull goose looney on ME!!!!! About FREAKING COLTS PLAYERS!!!!!

Nice try , Mr. Unmasked Peytie Buttswab

I smell a closet Colts fan that made a huge bet the Colts would land Maroney in the draft lost all their money, and is now mad at the Patriots even though his team has a great back, but because of the substantial wager his family left him.
Adding insult to injury i'm guessing the new man is a Patriots fan.
Is that anywhere near warm?

Just look over these 2 clips closely. 2 brilliant University of Arkansas players with huge game breaking ability. One's already been a bonafide 1st round bust in the NFL. The other? Well, the other has chicken legs.

Darren McFadden:

How much CONTACT does anyone actually see McFadden dealing with??? Yep. That's how it'll be in the NFL. Running right through Ds with zero contact. Definitely the 2nd coming.....of JJ Arrington.

McFadden looks amazingly quick and he makes some excellent cuts, but you are right. I think I saw one broken tackle in that entire clip. In the interest of fairness, he may have 20 2 yard TD runs that weren't exciting enough to show and I wouldn't know.

He doesn't have chicken legs, he's got Garraf legs.

Now my father? He's got chicken legs, lol!

So youre seeing what Im seeing? I see a gazelle. A fast player, built like an NFL WR, too tall to remain injury free in the NFL playing that position. He looks similar to ****erson or Marcus Allen. Tall and fast. Problem is, how many guys playing RB in the NFL are built like those 2? None. Because this isnt the 80s NFL. And guys built like that dont play RB in the NFL....for long.

I still find it odd i have offer 3 times to him to tell me what his expections are for the 22nd pick that is Maroney and he has yet to come out and say what he expects. I think i smell something it's getting stronger and stronger
yes definatly TROLL!!!!!!!!!!!

When will Laurence "I'm made out of Glass!" Maroney finally get into the end zone? Post guesses here. My guess is he won't score a TD all year long as I firmly believe he is allergic to the end zone. He is overrated and quickly becoming a dissapointment. I calls em' like I sees em'.

BTW, I am officially the President of the "please draft Darren McFadden in 2008" club.

Listen I dunno if this is a ploy by the Pats to bring him along slowly or not. But he is KILLING my fantasy team!!!! Come on Maroney give me a couple of points!!!!

Without a doubt, the KNUCKLEHEAD thread of the year. Maybe I shouldnt give the OP too much credit here actually because Im sure there are many others equally worthy. But the boneheaded logic on display in this thread is embarassing. Embarassing.

Humiliating, actually. Glad you re-set the thread to draw attention to Douche-baggery of the highest order.

It's always worrisome when argumentative posters use A LOT OF CAPS and sign their posts "Mike".

What do you expect from someone who who actually watched that late night "Sports Agent" info-mercial and actually sent them money.
