OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

OTC values Brady at 37mil and he is getting paid 25mil.

Brady still giving home team discounts.

Another way to know that the Bucs need to keep AB around:

Yea, Bruce is smoking crack if he thinks he's going to replace AB's productivity and efficiency with Perriman, who had 3 targets w/ 1 completion for 5 yards. Lmao

He's butt hurt because AB lied to him. I don't blame him, but he's not a fool. Bucs got away with good passing production yesterday because of Godwin and a sh!t Falcons secondary and pass rush. They won't be able to do that against teams with better pass rushes and that can take away Godwin with man coverage. With Evans, Godwin, Gronk, Fournette and AB, their offense is unstoppable. Pretty sure all those guys have only played together a couple of complete games this season. AB is an idiot, but a beast on the field.

That's good by all accounts they may have all their starting corners available for Bills game. Dean, SMB, and Davis
Dean's in concussion protocol. Arians has zero control over how fast he comes out of it. Coming off the field he looked like he thought he was in a Jimmy Deans about to order eggs and sausage.

I wonder if they’d release him if no other team could sign him. I think that tips the scales. No goddamned way you’d be able to account for not only losing him but also defending him when he joins a competitor.

They would've cut him already. No point in dragging this out

He’s not getting cut stop listening to Florio
If they really wanted to get rid of AB, they would trade him to an AFC playoff contender. There would be half a dozen teams willing to give up draft picks for him.

Trade deadline has passed

Bucs announce that long-snapper Zach Triner has been placed on the COVID-19 reserve list.

Buffalo we have a problem...

With Zach Triner on COVID reserve list, Bucs’ logical answer would be Carson Tinker, who stepped in when Triner missed eight games. He just signed with Raiders last week as COVID replacement for their snapper, but if he returns, Tinker would be cut and could do the same for Bucs.

We on this thread must be living in a bizarro universe. How could we not see that the MVP race is far from concluded.

Did that moron forget Jonathan Taylor's existence? Yeah, I'd say I live in a different reality than him as well.

Murray?! no way. if they’re doing that, then Brady should have won MVP in 2016

I just ignore all these and look at the betting odds. There's so much noise otherwise. The betting odds have Brady at around 40%, Allen and Rodgers at 15%, Prescott, Murray, and Mahomes at 10%. And everyone else at less than 10% (odds will add up to over 100% for book profit).

So it definitely isn't over, considering the favorite is less than 50%. But to say it has "never been wide open" is really off the mark. There's five games left, so rarely is someone a shoo-in at the point. Last year, Mahomes was above 50% with about a month left and then lost due to circumstances with Rodgers chasing the records/wins, and Mahomes basically going into neutral for the last month.

He should have, but the NFL is much more to blame for that than the voters.

I you listen to the talking head media, you can tell that they are desperately trying to find a non-Brady winner, and are annoyed that they don't currently have one.
Which is why I said if it were close they'd give it to Rodgers or Murray. Brady trounces all of them in stats though and his team keeps winning

Yeah. It's really not close. Brady has been front running the entire season.
