Panthers crying about Mac's hold on Burns.

Looked pretty bad. He grabbed it and twisted and did not even go over to see if he was Ok. Probably gets fined.

I know it, that was really horrible by Mac. When Burns obliterates a QB or running back he doesn’t celebrate he immediately goes over to them, gently picks them up, and then apologizes for the hit. Mac should have known better than to touch him, and he should have then apologized profusely for being rough with him, and promised never to touch a defender again. Mac should realize that this isn’t the rough and tumble NCAA, but that he’s now in the National Flag Football League, and such brutish behavior will not be tolerated.

This whole thing just says a lot about discipline and coaching. Clearly the Vincent D'Onofrio-looking guy coaching the Panthers does not have full control of his team. And it shows both on and off the field.

"It is what it is" is a powerful statement. The way they're squawking, you'd think that Mac ended someone's career or season. He did neither.

And I thought bounties were illegal in the NFL. "Happy hunting"? Yikes. I mean,, I know the league won't do anything but in a perfect world, they would. That kind of language is unacceptable. At the end of the day, no one was hurt in the long-term. And, I suppose it's nice to take up room in someone's head rent-free but the dude just needs to get over it.

He's too old to be the child of a millennial, does anyone do math here?

You are being quite literal with this generational thing, aren't you? Humor needs an element of truth and is not meant to be dissected literally.

I can't believe I just googled this stupid shyt.

According to Pew Research Center, Millenials (aka Pooosay generation) were born between 1981 and 1995. Burns was born in 1998. If Burns' mommy slid little Burnsy out of her pooosay when she was 17 (not so uncommon in this great country of ours), she would have been born in 1981. This would make her, according to Pew Research, a card carrying member of the Millennial pooosay generation.

Conclusion: Brian Burns is in fact NOT too young to be the son of a millenial!

Conclusion #2: I will do math around here, but only for stupid reasons.

No need to apologize. Let's argue about pronouns next.

I agree with many other posters.
Where is the outrage over burns taking out 2 of our RB's.?

His actions looked deliberate to me. Dirty, with intent to injure.
I was glad when he got his.

I think Jones and all pats players were looking for pay back. Right or wrong.. Screw Burns and his cohorts.

The constant whining over this is over the top.

Now DEs are going to look to take his head off.
Nah. Burns and the entire Panther D line played after the injury, what damage did they manage to do Mac? Players on other teams will not risk losing their pay check for Burns.

Can you imagine Barmore crying for a whole week from Zach Wilson grabbing his leg?

This guy wants an apology? Mac ought to tell him to GTFO with that noise.

Has Mac been fined?

Mac needs to learn the nuances of the game. Send a text to the guy saying you are sorry and be done with it. Now DEs are going to look to take his head off.
They’re going to look to do that anyway that’s their job.

You still have TP on yer azz from ****tin' bricks. Happens when you need Extra Soft.

Whoa, whoa, I'm not saying you're extra soft. I'm just saying there's some of evidence of recent anxiety issues causing tummy upset.

Are you for real?

I think it's hilarious that out of touch people are still talking about Millenials as if they are the youngest generation and the folks on tick tock. Look at what I just got you to do, research, learn, and figure out that what you are saying is ******ed.

Your math takes into account the smallest possible fringe case, so yes, it's possible a 15 year could have a child that goes on to be a sh*t head football player. But that's a very small chance.

Well I always thought millennials were born around the Millennium. Which Brian Burns, born in 1998 fit the bill. Now you inform me that there are even MORE of these entitled selfish assholes than I thought, just ruined my day. THANKS a lot! I need @Joker to produce a proper response to this kind of debacle. I have been sober for almost 50 years and this kind of news might forecast a set back.

BTW- you seem to have a bit of inside information about this topic. Does that mean YOU are a "millennial". That would explain a lot.
I just turned 40, so I'm on the very beginning of that generation. But you would be wrong about your assumption. They were folks that were becoming adults around the millenium. Don't let some entitled as*hole send you back to the gutter though.

Most people consider Mills to be people who grew up in the millennial. I realize the actual generational span is bigger but if you are 40 you are much more Gen X in my opinion than Mill.

Why give them extra motivation? Send a text and be done.
This is not extra motivation, it's just one guy running his mouth. I doubt someone like Myles Garrett cares one way or the other about this, his job is to get Mac and he'll try.

And I actually think it's the opposite...it's Burns that is giving his opponents motivation. If he's still talking about this almost a week later then it seems he is advertising that it's that easy to get in his head. So if I was playing him I'd be grabbing his leg, throwing chop blocks, the whole works to get in his head and throw him off his game... and I bet it would work too.
