Anyone else stoked for the matchup against Brady and the Bucs?

When you're calling the 2020 Texans a better team than the 2020 Patriots, in an effort to buttress the argument that the Patriots overachieved, you're not being neutral.
What's that have to do with the TB, BB debate?

It's possible, though very unlikely, that Mahomes might have won. There's no other QB who'd have had a chance in hell.
100 percent agreed
Does this include Brady's perennial 3 INTs in the conf title game or no?

You mean when he had already thrown for 3 touchdowns a 155 passer rating and 18 point first half lead?

Rooting for the team is fine, I just dont understand why you have to bash a player that is the greatest player in the team you root for history. A player that always took less than others made for the team, the player that did everything he was told, that went above and beyond what a player is asked to do, and became the greatest NFL player of all time who had the gall to leave a team that didnt want him and then in an act of betrayel....won on another team. I promise you do not have to hate players if they leave the team, its not a requirement of being a fan.
I think you are looking at the the wrong angle. There are more people in here bashing the current head coach, the coach with whom the team won 6 Super Bowls, than people bashing Brady.

a honk, not even sure what that means, but I'm guessing that is an insult. I wasn't trying to be nasty or disrespectful to you in any way, just some fun banter back and forth. Thank you for the insult.

he insults everyone. Knows his stuff but can’t make a post without an insult. You’re positive energy is a huge boost to this forum, don’t sweat it

Like who? Quote some posts.

Any HC who would have Brady for 20 years would be considered the GOAT HC right now. You see, it works both ways, I can too work with hypothetical to make a point.

Brady carried Bill, Brady carried Arians and Brady would have carried any HC he had.
That's a good debate, would Arians be the best ever if he had TB for 20 years, what if TB went to the Jetes or if had any other coach?

Didn't think the thread could derange any further.. surprise! even have a mod chiming in with how they could have lead the Bucs last year to the super bowl, lol.

We have it all, folks.

Thanks, no need to insult anyone though.....we won't be seeing him in here for a while.

You keep saying this. Bill is a defensive head coach. To make it out like Bill created this thing and Brady just went along for the ride, is one of the most stupid things I have ever heard. Fact of the matter is, if Brady did not go to the pats Bill would probably not be the coach of the pats today. In Bill's book, he said he thought he was going to be fired after the 2000 season when they went 5-11, then they started the year 0-2. Then Bledsoe went down. Brady came in, went 11-3 and they won the superbowl and the rest is history. Davey didnt come in, Huard didnt come in, Brady came in. He never gave up the job. The Patriots drafted 10 QB's since then. None took his job, none had Bill magic dust sprinkled on them. You are literally taking every thing away from the player as if they had nothing to do with their success.
I never said Brady "was a long for the ride". Brady worked hard and was a great team player and was a perfect QB that BB had always coveted until the end here. Nothing more, nothing less.

Like I said, read the scouting report on what a good QB needs. Most people wanted an "arm" or "size". BB all but created the prototype modern NFL QB. Everyone started looking for the next Brady with the accuracy, understanding of defenses from Bill, game management, and leadership with toughness. Brady has shown to have it all. No one else valued those traits and BB saw it and developed him. Not Pete Carroll, not Andy Reid, not anyone else who thinks they're on his level. Belichick. The greatest football mind in NFL history.

But, no one wanted Brady. He was a late bloomer and a flabby prospect who needed seasoning and what better coach to set him up for success than the greatest def mind ever? He's basically the guy that gives you all the answers to the test and Brady wisely absorbed it all.

To proclaim BB had no influence on Brady's career is absolutely hilarious and deserves a session with Sigmund Freud's great, great grandson. It's lunatic level material.

As stated FACTUALLY so, only JimmyG was drafted to succeed Brady. That's it. And BB was ready to move on after the 2017 season and Kraft stepped in to broker a truce. It wasn't 10. It was 1. You're wrong about everything you type and you don't know the facts. The others were cheap developmental back ups because Brady was going nowhere, so why pay 4-6 million like for back up when you don't need to and you save a roster spot as Edelman as your emergency back up anyway. No team carries just 2 QBs except BB. BB's genius is so vast it's above you, apparently.

Keep chipping away at the stupidity. You're doing a great job with it.

I have seen a lot of things insulting on this thread but not at someone. I guess everyone missed the crazy prom queen who has done nothing but trash this teams greatest player ever over and over and what he says to people when have the nerve to question it.

Peyton Manning took Jim Caldwell to a Super Bowl. Caldwell is not a good head coach. Career W-L below .300 in college.

So I wouldn't count out Brady doing the same no matter who is coaching him. We know Bill can't win with someone like Cam as QB. Is there an equivalent of Cam as a coach that we can use for Brady? LOL

Mac10, don't worry it's done...you won't be hearing from him in this thread anymore.
What about the guy (Kontradiction) who mocked Alzheimer's patients? My dad died on Jan 8, 2020 after a sad and horrible bout with that for about 10 years. Tore our whole family apart.

I shouldn't have to come in here and read that.

I hope you're not comparing Bill to Arians as far as coaches go.
You know, it’s funny because everyone think Arians is a clown but without Tom Brady Arians has still a winning record as a HC which is not the case of Bill who has a worse record than Rex Ryan.

sorry don’t understand this post. Whom are you calling the prom queen? Anyone that knows me here can backup my claim that I’m the biggest brady supporter out there

no need for any insulting..we’re adults!

There was someone who did that months ago but he or she hasn't posted in a while. I don't think anyone else is bashing Bill.

Actually it was you, that said it was all Bill that created Brady from spare parts and clay, and that Brady just moved by the remote control Bill used. Fact of the matter is trying to compare a coach and a player is silly. Bill has never thrown a pass, he has never taken a hit, they dont do the same thing, but in reality, the greatest coach ever cannot make players execute. It takes good players to win. Bill didnt keep brady around for 2 decades while letting everyone else walk because Brady had a nice smile, there was a reason.

What about Lloyd Carr then?

This is literally the first post I have seen you post....Obviously I was talking to the guy that has ruined about 3 or 4 threads on this board with his Jet fan like attacks on our former QB.

Stevenson still going at it here. All day. LOL. Between this and his time on PFT as tylawpick6 I don't know when he has the time to do anything else! :D
