This is the game of the year for me and I cant wait even though its 2 weeks away.

Keys to a win:

Pressure on Brady
Run da ball
no turnovers

I'm looking forward to it but not just for the Brady factor. Won't lie - I don't think we're in the Bucs league. Not yet. But this game will tell me a lot about Mac. He knows this is not just a routine out of conference home game. And this will be by far the best defense he'll face this season.

Mac doesn't have to win it but if the reins come off and he can be effective against that pass rush and that front 7, control the play, no turnovers and get chunk plays...then I really think we'll have a lot to get excited about in the coming years. Even if that doesn't happen and he looks like the rookie that he is... this will be a great experience for him.

not looking down the road, just to next Sunday.....one game at a time. looking forward to 4 more picks.....

I wish it was later in the season... that said, I think it will go the way of this game from 2001... a well-fought battle that comes up short...

...but with a rematch a few months later.

Smith doesn't fumble at the Rams 4 yard line we win that game. 14 point swing.

That was a measuring stick game and we certainly measured up well. This one has a chance to be the same.

No - I'll be mostly avoiding the forum for the week up until the game.

The fun factor of seeing Brady and Bill on opposite sidelines will almost certainly be avalanched by pop-up stories and innuendos, so I'm not looking forward to it.

It's a regular season game between teams that rarely cross paths. The amount of "legacy deciding" is as asanine as the Packers/Patriots deciding the GOAT status a few years ago.

If I ignore almost all the noise and just tune in right before kickoff, I'll enjoy watching it. It will be a big test for the Patriots, but I think it will come down to the end.

I’m not looking forward to it. I’m enjoying watching Brady still dominating and the Patriots mini rebuild with Mac. I suspect the Pats won’t be far enough along and might take a beating. Then all the Belichick haters and Negative Nancies will flood this place (and the media) like an invading army dropping “I told you so” bombs and firing off “Belichick is overrated” missiles. It could be unbearable.

We're just fans guys

No, I am more than "just a fan"....I live and breath Patriot football 25/7/365....

And I'll be here LONG after all players, coaches, and owners have come and gone...

I take it seriously. My mentality is day by day...just do your job...try to get better every day...

Mac should get to open it up against them - because we will probably end up behind... So it should be exciting.. Especially if we gut out another defense oriented game of the interception machine that is Winston..

Not very interested in that matchup. It’ll be overhyped and while I think NE could be ascending, TB should be at their near peak.

Love Brady the player : winner, performer in the clutch, leader. But I’m not IN love with him. Many posters are. And it’ll make this place even more unbearable….

Brady and Gronk are going to destroy this team.

Then add Godwin and Evans and AB.

Yes, and the hype will be unreal. Tom vs Bill is a heavyweight matchup which may be their only one.

However, I'm cringing at the thought of a Bucs blowout as the media will rip Bill apart. Tom, Gronk and AB will want to embarrass Bill/Kraft what Curtis Martin did to the Pats from 1998-2000.
