How much did ashley1992 pay Mac to do this?

Ooh.. chills. I just love it man.. the comfort level of this kid is off the charts. Tells you we have something special here.

I can remember exactly when I knew Brady was special. It was the moment he spiked the ball so nonchalantly after going 5-6 on the last drive in the SB vs. the Rams. I was dumbfounded- it was so casual. Didn't he understand he was in the biggest game on the biggest stage in this country?

Granted the game vs. Miami isn't the superbowl but it was Mac's first professional game and he's already having fun.

Definitely. He's not lacking in confidence at all.

If that is an actual member of this board I will need to reconsider my life and marriage and everything I used to think wasn't worth losing for any reason.

Another factor for this game was that Flores and the dolphins knew us way too much. Next time we meet them, we will be a different team and will hide them.

Next time we meet them, Flores will just have more tape on us. We really need to stop underestimating his coaching abilities. He's 2-0 against Belichick the last 2 games.

It seems to me that there's a certain intangible "fight or flight" response in the greatest athletes. When confronted with difficult challenges, people react VERY differently. Brady, Montana (John Candy moment), Jordan, Kobe etc. It's a calm focus when everyone else is freaking out.

It could be one of the biggest reasons some players kill in college and then end up busts in the pros, when they shrink from competition. Impossible to gauge until they're up against it.

I know there a lot of "Mac is the second coming!" talk, and I'm not going to jump on that train yet. But the way he handles himself so far is a good sign.

It's what happens when you study EVERYTHING and have thought through and know what to do in every scenario. Mac started studying the Jets on Sunday night (immediately after the Dolphins game). Love this kid.

yeah...fight or flight...sounds like my pathetic love life...

Definitely. He's not lacking in confidence at all.

It's a common tactic of a defense to shout out the name of the play that they recognize, prior to the snap, to try and rattle the QB. For Mac to just wink at them in response... he's basically saying "**** you, I'm gonna ball on you anyway."

I mean, a savvy talented vet like Rodgers or Wilson who have been around a long time, doing this would be understandable, but a rookie? That's insane. That's a level of rookie confidence you see once in a generation, like with Larry Bird. I love it. I'm marinating in this.

Glad we got rid of Tom Oldy...otherwise we wouldn't have gotten Mac
