Harry out 4 weeks with shoulder injury

Why until you have a better option? As of tomorrow he won't even count against the 53 until he is ready to play.
They had months to find a better option. And, while he may not count starting tomorrow, he's also untradeable starting tomorrow.

I have a feeling he’s going to put better numbers with Mac Jones compared to the previous QBs, not that this is a very difficult task, no rapport with Brady and Cam because of…Cam.

Your threadly reminder that if you take a few moments and go back to read draft rankings from 2019, you'll find Harry ranked anywhere from #2 - #6 on almost all (and where he's lower, there are busts ahead of him.

I wanted AJ Brown or Deebo, and if I had been drafting in the Pats room it would have been Brown, Metcalf (when he was amazingly still available) and Hunter Renfrow (sp?) in the 4th or 5th.

Harry doesn't fit the Pats. he's a contested catch guy and BB hates contested catch attempts. Don't know why they drafted him - at all.

But he was rated up in the top of the class.
I think this has been addressed. BB places a lot of weight on what college coaches tell him about players and he knows or trusted Harry’s coach over his own scouts.

He’s Arizona bound with Fitz not coming back.
We need to trade for a veteran WR.
We have been here so many times.
Can we get it right. We really just need a capable number 4.
Wilkerson is not running with the job Zuber isn’t running with the job.
I think we need to take a flier on a trade for a guy in a crowded WR room.
I Would be looking at Dallas, LA Rams and Minnesota’s Depth chart and say where are these diamond in the rough WRs.
Need someone to catch Mac's bombs!

They did find some better options and he's been pushed further down the depth chart. Just not off the roster yet. And not all of those options will pan out so no rush to get rid of Harry yet.

Or, maybe he just sucks.

If they thought they'd found better options, he'd have been gone. You're trying to justify keeping Harry based upon depth improvement elsewhere. That's not a relevant argument.

I'm just justifying it in that I think he's better than Wilkerson, Zuber, and Gunner so he was making the team. He seemed a little better in camp before his injury so maybe he'll actually be worth a roster spot we know he'll never be worth the pick.

Just being better than other players who weren't good enough to make the roster is not a legitimate reason to keep a player. And he was the same garbage that he's been since entering the league. I mean, come on. The play he got injured on is exhibit "A" regarding that.

What's it costing us to put him on IR?

Dump Harry and make room for the triumphant return of T.J. Moe!!! He can't be worse . . can he?
