Harry out 4 weeks with shoulder injury

It is the usual N'Keal Harry move, come up injured, and get paid. It is time to get rid of him, the best way possible. Admit to the mistake of taking him in Round 1.

The Pats tried to trade him with the big sell job "he is doing outstanding during the practices." No other team was interested enough to give the Pats what they wanted for him.

In reality, he has been schitt in pre-season games, this now makes trading him more complex, and now the injury.

Just cut him loose and swallow the loss.
I was done with him when he tried to shoot his way out of town. Only playmaking would have made me tolerate his existence here.

I don't care what they do with him.

I'd keep him in the roster, he's the #4 WR right now, not a lot of better options, if somehow at the end of the season he's got some 600 yards and a few TDs, even garbage time stats, as a former 1st rounder some team might be willing to take a shot in a trade.

Wish Harry stayed on his feet, probably could’ve gained a few extra yards.
It was a low throw.
Outside of Gronk, and Edelman we sucked at drafting wide receivers in recent years.

Our scouting team sucksZ
The real problem is that they didn’t do it enough. Any team will be pretty terrible at drafting when they rarely take a certain player in different rounds.

Since watching him lumber through his routes is somewhat close to a crime against humanity, are you suggesting summary execution?

A little too harsh but i'd be OK if he was put on a Peter Pan bus for 7 hrs and during that time he came to the realization he isn't that good.

I applaud the effort, but you're trying too had. If you're going to create a nickname for someone based on their actual name, you should probably get that name correct.

N'Keal, not K'Neal.
Let's be honest. None of really remembered anyway

N’Kealed two birds with one stone..

Gronk, Hernandez, Edelman, Branch, Givens, Graham, Watson, developing Troy Brown all came during years when the current OC was not here. Busts for Chad Jackson, Aaron Dobson, NKeal Harry, Dave Thomas, Garrett Mills, trading a 2nd for Sanu all came with the current OC's tenure. Basically do not draft any more WRs (RBs and TEs too) with any meaningful draft capital with the current OC.

My money is on Harry making the initial 53. Whether he’s IRd at that point depends on his how long his injury is going to keep him out.

Harry is not a top receiver and never will be, but are Wilkerson or Zuber any better than Harry? To my surprise in Zuber’s case at least, the answer is no and neither of them have $2 million guaranteed to them over the next two years.
Are UDFA prospects better than Harry? The answer is yes. See Jakobi Meyers.

I mean look we just traded former 1st round pick Sony Michel for only a 4th round pick. And he at least has put up solid if unspectacular numbers as an NFL RB - 900, 900, and 500 yards.

Harry is not even making respectable back up WR numbers over his trash tier career so far - 100, and 300 yards. If we could even trade Harry after his latest setback the most we'd get back is a 6th or 7th round pick. How sad is that?

Bump as our favorite WR is on injured reserve.

Why did they keep this guy? It may be the year's biggest mystery.
