Just a horrible first round pick. His college tape was meh at best. As a pro, he stinks. we passed up on future all pro WRs for this guy. Fire our chief WR scout.

it’s over..let’s move on.

Pretty awkward length of time from a roster building standpoint. Can't trade him (for whatever he was worth) while he's hurt, can't PUP him because he practiced, can't IR him to return without putting another player you might want to keep through waivers, and IR'ing him outright is probably going to result in an injury settlement/release anyway. So he's either cut, or he's deadweight on the 53 for the start of the season.

He’s Arizona bound with Fitz not coming back.
We need to trade for a veteran WR.
We have been here so many times.
Can we get it right. We really just need a capable number 4.
Wilkerson is not running with the job Zuber isn’t running with the job.
I think we need to take a flier on a trade for a guy in a crowded WR room.
I Would be looking at Dallas, LA Rams and Minnesota’s Depth chart and say where are these diamond in the rough WRs.

Other reports mention 2-4 weeks with no damage to shoulder.

HOW MUCH SHOULD WE GIVE FOR A #4 WR?

How much of a draft choice should we give up? How much should we pay a new #4 WR?

How many reps do you think a "really capable" #4 WR will get? After all, he would be about the 11th passing game target after 3 WR's, 3 TE's and 4 RB's. Perhaps, you could argue that he would be the #9 or #10 target.

BOTTOM LINE
I'm OK with adding an emergency WR, even if it costs a 6th. However, I don't expect him to active unless there is an injury or two.

OPTION 1
Cut and injury settlement.

OPTION 2
IR and pay him for the season.

OPTION 3
Harry makes the roster and is then put on IR the next day, from which he COULD return, or not.

My guess in Door Number Three.
Probably 3 but 1 rips the bandaid off.

The CURSE of N'Keal Harry continues. One of the worst 1st round Busts in Patriots recent memory. I think he's DONE! Stick a fork in him!

Sorry to be negative but I was already ready to give up on him, he brings some false hope in training camp, then he makes the dumbest play hurting himself to catch the ball when if he just runs under it he would be 100% fine and who cares if he drops a preseason pass. But yup, 10 cent brain, million dollar body, still hasn't proved JACK Squat. OOF. Can we get a redo on this pick or at least trade him for a 6th rounder? We can at least draft a decent kicker with that pick.

How do the people who scout, advise and make the actual selection on drafting Pats WRs still have jobs in the NFL?

The only logical explanation is that its Belichick. His dog could do better. Lay out 10 food bowls on the floor and place a different 2022 WRs name under each bowl. Fill the bowls with Alpo. The first bowl that Nike eats from is the guy.

What's the cap space hit if we cut him? I would definitely go with the one i don't know vs the one i know. Wilkerson shows much more potential!

If I’m Bill I just IR him now and keep Wilkerson on the roster instead. Sucks but there will undoubtedly be too many other guys to juggle to try to get on the eligible to return IR… give Harry one last try next camp.

If we are to pay Harry for 2021, I suspect that Belichick will want the possibility of him be activated late in the year in case of injury.

My money is on Harry making the initial 53. Whether he’s IRd at that point depends on his how long his injury is going to keep him out.

Harry is not a top receiver and never will be, but are Wilkerson or Zuber any better than Harry? To my surprise in Zuber’s case at least, the answer is no and neither of them have $2 million guaranteed to them over the next two years.

Just sign whoever is in charge of the Steelers WR draft board........

Your threadly reminder that if you take a few moments and go back to read draft rankings from 2019, you'll find Harry ranked anywhere from #2 - #6 on almost all (and where he's lower, there are busts ahead of him.

I wanted AJ Brown or Deebo, and if I had been drafting in the Pats room it would have been Brown, Metcalf (when he was amazingly still available) and Hunter Renfrow (sp?) in the 4th or 5th.

Harry doesn't fit the Pats. he's a contested catch guy and BB hates contested catch attempts. Don't know why they drafted him - at all.

But he was rated up in the top of the class.

Even with the drops, Wilkerson's been better than Harry.
