Content Post JETS SUCK 2021 EDITION (OFFICIAL): THE INSIDIOUS JETE STANK CONSPIRACY

This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.
Woody Johnson is exactly the right person to keep running the Jets. He needs to be in charge of that franchise as long as possible, even if cloning is necessary.

A few pages back, there were some posts about the Jets SBIII team and it got me thinking what it would be like if something similar happened to the Patriots. Imagine a scenario where the Patriots won SB36, but then went into a Jets-like descent into constant failure. You're a 20 year Patriots fan in February 2002 and you've just seen your favorite team win the Super Bowl. The Patriots have got a young QB and you think, if things go right, they could be a contender for a while. Flash forward to 2054 and your team has never been to another Super Bowl, forget about winning one. Since then, there have been a lot of last place finishes and a lot of big talk from coaches who couldn't deliver. You're 72 now and you've gone through all the big events in life. You've had a career, been married, had kids, grand kids, but the best thing your favorite football team has done occurred before you could legally drink. Maybe the main purpose of the NY Jets is to serve as a warning to others, or a message that things could always be worse.

tepper cuts a check for 2.1 billion for the panthers.

soon Ryan will cut a check for 2.7 or so billion for the bears. Ms. Virginia is around 99 years old now I think.

somewhere out there is a point 1 percenter that can pony up 3 plus billion to take the Jets off woody’s hands.

Sadly woody’s ego will probably never allow him to be honest with himself and help him acknowledge that he is completely incompetent and his best option is to sell!

I can't think of a name more emblematic of the Jete or their fans

That's because they are ****less masochists fantasizing about woody johnsons and other things they can't have, like a genuine pro football team to root for.

I think I dislike Zach Wilson more than I l disiked Darnold..

Apart from his goofy looks and poor quarterbacking, Darnold seemed like an OK guy. Now extricated from the stank, I'm sure his image will improve exponentially in Carolina. Punky McMilfson, on the other hand, has a face made for collision with a brick.

His face screams douchebag.

This is entirely logical. Faith is what people invented to accommodate difficult situations without little or no tangible evidence of source or solution.

What other force could be fueling hope in Jets fans?

(And yes, I know there are Jets fans without hope; that's a different mental health problem.)

Having a Jete fan on Dr Phil could actually provide some helpful insight in the mind of a fan. He could ask them a variety of questions on why they support the stank. Then by the end of the episode offer the said fan therapy. Maybe that could give us answers?

That's easy: masochism.

I think I now want this HC/QB combo to fail more than I wanted Googly Gaze & Dam Darnit to fail...Googly & Dam were doomed from the start; these two new azzholes actually believe they're somebody...

It will be the ultimate Jete fail sealing the franchise's eternal sentence to football hell. After aborted QB saviors O'Brien, Pennington, Sanchez, Smith and Darnold (with cameos by Favre, Fitzpatrick and others), the McMilfson misadventure will prove conclusively -- once again -- that building a team trumps collecting talent: a lesson the Jete are blind to.

Yeah. Darnold and his ghosts were fun to laugh at. However him failing was like always going to happen. We all knew it.

However some people seem to believe that this new guy is the real deal. Puke.

@Ice_Ice_Brady Epic piece of Patsfans investigative journalism.

TWICE one of the tabloids used the SAME headline, a few years apart of course:

"A Star Is Born"

Unbelievable...Repeat a lie often enough...

This is just one of Many reasons why I Despise Screw York, and everyone in it.

They both remind me of one of the villians from the True Lies movie...which actually shouldn't be a surprise...
