I would never say that Eli is in the same class as Brady. He wouldn’t be in my top 50 QBs of all time. But he has those two rings including in one game which we know still haunts Brady to this day 4 rings later.
Mahomes though is in Brady’s class. His style of play though does not appear sustainable to me. You cannot go into your 30s throwing 40 yards down the field while horrizontal. Not in a soon to be 18 game season with undoubtedly expanded playoffs as well eliminating all byes. The grind of the longer league is gonna benefit both Brady and the Pats legacy because it’s gonna make it much more difficult to ever replicate the sustained success.
