Ugh Bedard is like that guy everyone knows who thinks he knows everything and comes at you with some crap that you just nod your head and pretend laugh or smile while you are thinking what a tool bag he is.
I don’t know who’s who in the Boston media
But I feel like he brought up some good points.

Bedard brings up thought-provoking points but I don't believe 80% of the crap he slings.

Whereas w/ guys like Reiss, Howe, Curran and Perry their "believe-ability" index is much hire than his.

I've enjoyed Curran's new platform on the NBC podcasts. Good stuff there.

I feel like Bedard is the guy they roll out in Flint Michigan to tell the town the contaminated water was safe.
Or Trump brings in stage to say we need a wall and that the Virus is fake news.
Also this there is no global warming.

Reiss most definitely. All around best.

Bedard throws ideas out, and often they are stretches, but he does have pretty good insight overall.

The other three may have better sources, but I'm not sure they have Bedard's insight.

Belichick confirmed this morning that Vinnie Sunseri is working with Fears and the RBs, which some reporters had noted in previous practices. It's always interesting to see what unexpected position groups the young coaches get experience at. I guess Caley also joined the Patriots with a defensive back coaching background and was the TE coach in his third year with the team, so it wouldn't be unprecedented for Sunseri to stick on offense.

On the other side of things, reporters also noted that Troy Brown is exactly where you'd expect him to be, with Lombardi and the WRs.

I like listening to Bedard’s podcasts but I have always thought of him as more of a “radio host” type guy/fellow fan than an actual “insider”. He seems to have sources every once in a while but other times he’s full of it so I keep that in mind, but I do like hearing what he’s got to say beyond that. As others have said, he has good ideas.

Also agree with others that Curran is pretty good now too, his podcasts with Phil Perry are definitely enjoyable. At the end of the day though, I still hold Reiss at the top as far as actual news.

In 2018, Bedard was the 1st to report Brady’s problems with his left knee. In 2019, he was the first to report Brady’s extension/renegotiation would have to wait until into TC because of CBA reasons. In 2020, he was the 1st to report of the coaches’ disappointment in Jarrett Stidham.

I subscribe to BSJ for a reason and that reason is not that I want to throw money away. Bedard has sources and, unlike Reiss who I like, Befard’s observations are insightful and often spot-on. And yes, I think he’s an insufferable Pantload as well.
