Arm strength? Where was his arm strength when he couldn’t throw a Hail Mary more than 50 yards?

it was painful to watch him throw the ball more than 20 yards. Probably why he had a small amount of them
He was injured

He is the next Larry Fitzgerald.

Experts say he’s going to get traded. Nothing happens.

He’s obviously a great talent, but like Calvin Johnson, there is always some nagging injury bothering him.

Oh, and the Falcons are pretty stupid trying to trade him.

The Falcons are in cap hell and really have little choice but to get rid of him. They aren’t going to get much for him because his contract is pretty much where it should be and he is old. He has said he is done with them so he won’t play there and everyone knows it.

He would be our version of Randy Moss, end of story. Do what it takes Bill to aquire this player. Kraft will be happy and the fans will be ecstatic, not to mention any qb that is starting for us.

He would not be our Randy Moss if Cam is our QB.

I don't think that the negotiations have been turned over to Julio. Unless there is a new contract BEFORE a trade, ATL can trade Julio to wherever is best for ATL. The trade partner's QB could be an issue, but only if the pick(s) received are conditional on performance.
I think that’s an overly simplistic view. Any team looking to renegotiate Julio’s contract after the trade is going to ask permission to talk to him before the trade. That would be all of them I’d expect. And right there the trade partner gets to negotiate with Julio.

Our version of Randy Moss was Randy Moss.

To seriously address your point, I would say Julio is the age Randy Moss was in 2009. If they decline on the same timeline (which may or may not be the case, although Moss' case was pretty normal for stars of his position), that would mean we would only get 1 good year out of Julio.

As far as Kraft and the fans go, I wouldn't let them factor into any football decision. You know what else makes them happy? Winning as a result of doing whatever the right football moves are. I think trading for Julio could be the right move, but only for the right price (2nd round pick or less, maybe throw in a non-star player).

Ten first takes AJ Brown after we take Harry and now this.
I said it before Vrabel is on my respected but hated Coach lists.

This makes the Second for Sanu look drafting Jordan Richards in the second bad.

It was bad horrible, but the difference between the two players contracts was a huge.

Took too much and Tennessee was willing to overpay.

Can understand not wanting to take on that big contract the way things stand.

I think the team is better than many posters, but are they really a Julio Jones away? Maybe, but they were 7-9 last year.

Should the team have been more patient in free agency to be in better position to take advantage of this?

I still like our direction a lot.

Agree, it doesn't make sense for this team to take on an expensive, aging and often injured WR.

It's a totally different situation than when we paid top dollar mid season to hope to get one more playoff run for the dynasty, and that WR promptly got injured.

Curious to see the final compensation and whatever the Titans do with his deal. I would have traded a 2nd for him, but the tweet says "at least" so I'll reserve judgment until we see the meat.
