Thank You Jules. (Edelman appreciation thread)

Just crazy. Down to 4 or 5 players from the 14 superbowl. Getting attached to players from 2 dynasties and watch them leave is hard. Defintely an all time Patriot, his playoff highlight reels will make the HOF committee atleast stop and think I’m sure. Great Patriot, great man. Enjoyed the ride so much, thanks for the memories.

Jules got it. To win, you have to make the big plays - at the big time. Maybe he's not as good a player as Welker - but he earned those rings with blood, sweat, and tears. And for Jules, it was all about the team.

After his potential game ending catch that he dropped in SB 46, he followed that up with a back breaking drop in the 2012 AFCCG that would've put the Pats in Ravens territory up 13-7 in the 3rd. Pats fell apart after that drop.

I know this is highly debatable, but I think Minitron has the resume for the HoF.

i can't tell you how many times i used this phrase with my travel softball team lol......it became one of the phrases the girls use when they reflect on the "old days" (they are all 16-17 lol)

Incredible legacy on the field, and so proud of how he grew into his beliefs/responsibility off the field. He wouldn't need that, I'd still love him for what he meant for the Patriots, but what we know of his life off the field made me admire him.

Sad message as hell. What to say Jules - just thank you for your effort, commitment and being a true Patriot.

Was a pleasure to watch him and will always be one of my favorite players.

2009 AFC Wildcard Game, Ravens up 33-14. 4th and 7, Edelman jukes multiple guys and dives for the first down. He makes it but there's an unrelated penalty. Very next play 4th and 17, Brady hits Edelman for a 24 yard completion. This competitiveness was there his rookie year.

1:56 mark and then 1:58 mark.

A throw-away 7th round pick, a QB even, becomes an all-time receiver and returner. What's not to like?

Randy faded out late in his career but the guy went all out.

Just because he's so tall and gangly and fluid doesn't mean he wasn't pushing himself. It looked effortless. It wasn't.

Yes, thank you Jules. What a great career and what fun it was to watch him as a player. I do believe he is hall of fame worthy for his postseason accomplishments. Being the 2nd all time leading postseason receiver (only behind Jerry Rice) on a team that won 3 super bowls is hall-worthy IMO.

On the shortlist of my favorite players from the last 20 years. Played everywhere, and did so with heart, courage, and SKILL. He didn't just return punts, he was possibly the best PR in the league in his prime. He didn't just fill in a CB, he made plays there (thankfully that was a short term thing). Didn't just contribute to playoff wins, he dominated some of them. Played hurt, inspired teammates, and even made Tom Brady sprint to the end zone on a punt return TD, just to "see his guy!". There's more you could say about him as a player, but I'll stop before that rabbit hole burrows straight through the Earth.

Thank you for 12 awesome years Jules!

Great game. We really dominated that stadium that night.

Arians was blaming everyone in sight the next day. He couldn't win until we sent him reinforcements.

If Kurt Warner is HOF worthy, Jules should be 1st ballot.

The HOF is really meant for greatness not stats and Jules was GREAT.
