Bill Dion Dawkins on the Patriots "Tom Brady was their whole life and he isn't there anymore"

Even without Brady, it's unwise to give the Patriots bulletin board material. We still have Bill, and we still have the hard working culture. And now Bill's flanked by his 2 sons who seem to share some of their father's competency.

We're a 9-10 win team right now if nothing goes unbelievably poorly. If bill comes through with an ace QB the sky's the limit.
Don't see 9-10 wins without a viable passing QB. QB will make all the difference between playoffs or a repeat of last year.

Patriots opponents, 2021

Home: Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns

Away: Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Chargers

Bonus game: Cowboys

Do you think there's a chance for Little Steven to take over as HC?

God I hope so. It'd be cool for the Dude to become "Chairman and CEO of Team Little Steven."

7 win team last year with a 1st place schedule that could have had more wins and have since improved and now will have a 3rd place schedule That's how.

Well it would be hard to be worse than last year especially with an extra game.
Of the 32 teams, there will always be something like 28-32 of them who think they've improved themselves. So I'm not trying to say that the Patriots are/aren't. I'm just asking the "why" question, in the context of their opponent list, because I think it leads to interesting questions/thoughts.

After seeing the blazing speed in the Patriots West instagram, I'm convinced this is a top 5 team, with GB, KC, and TB closely behind.

The Patriots when they were actually great were subject to a lot of trash talk by opponents and then preceded to lose. Jets divisional, Ravens championship, Giants Super Bowl twice. Bulletin board material is overrated, at the end of the day it’s about talent and whether or not they perform up to their ability during the game.
I never played in the NFL. I think I'll believe Rodney who said it is a big factor. He played in the NFL.

QBs are overrated. Pats can win with Cam, Stid, hell even Bortles.

This guy is hearing footsteps already and it's March 23. Seeing ghosts. For years, the Patriots have been the hammer and the rest of the league were the nails. It's still in his head. Love it.

Is this official?

Depends on how you're asking that.

Do I see it happening in the next 1 year? 3 years? 5 years? 10 years? Answers: No, No, Possibly, and Hopefully.

I've been saying this for about 5 years now: I think Bill's longterm plan is to groom Steven, or Brian if he progresses faster, to take over the reins for him as head coach, and kick himself upstairs to play full time GM until the day football isn't fun for him anymore, whenever that happens to be. Head coaching is the most physically taxing part of his job, turn that over to a figurehead who'll listen to him, and focus on the roster, is how I see BB transitioning into quasi-retirement.

Also would not be surprised if Steve wound up head coaching in another uniform for a few years waiting for Dad to hang it up.

Bring Bledsoe back as the heir to Brady! He's not doing much these days. The circle of life and all.

If Biffins would've started this thread, it would've been locked by now. Just saying.
Is he paying you to post the same whine on his behalf? He didn’t just post one link. 4 of the first 5 posts in his thread were his and they were all his normal troll job posts that bring zero to the table.

Who are you talking about? As soon as I realized he was being targeted and blacklisted at Patsfans, I unfollowed him, blocked him from following, and put him on ignore. To be safe, I also blocked him on FB, twatter, instagram, and tic tac.

“He was targeted and blacklisted” because he sucks. Hard. Bravo to the mod who called him out on his BS and brought the hammer down on his putrid thread. He is doing God’s work.

Wait, are you confirming that he is in fact being "targeted and blacklisted?" I was kinda joking. Wow.

Amen. Thank you God for appointing a Saint to protect us.
