Agreed. And every coach needs a QB to win. Coaches dont win with bad QBs mostly. But coaching matters. suddenly everyone is making BB and coaching staffs contribution = 0 for all these yrs. Look at the chargers. If BB had that roster, you think he does better than anthony lynn's staff ? Or even just herbert this yr than cam. ?
I don't think anyone is doing that.

Coaching matters - even Brady himself said great players need coaches. But the QB matters more than the coach. Peyton Manning took Jim Caldwell to a SB and Caldwell isn't what I'd call a good coach.

The rift in their family has to do with religion...I'm sure it happens to a lot of families across the country.
I don't think that's it according to the father.

I don’t think this played at all into him leaving New England, but going to a lovable loser team like Tampa Bay, away from the evil empire, and incidentally transforming into the “nothing to lose” old man gunslinger, is going to make a gigantic positive impact on Brady’s popularity and brand.

Best. Of. All. Time.

Who was a below average QB by Adjusted/Net Yards/Attempt and most advanced QB metrics from roughly 2015-18, just four years of his prime.

If the Packers win, I’d love to see the Chiefs curb stomp them.

I won’t root against Mahomes by virtue of not wanting him to get more attention and/or ”gain” on Brady. As far as I’m concerned, players should get their due. I often argue that Rodgers, Brees, Manning, etc are overhyped by a historically short-sighted media because that’s what I believe, and it bothers me thst the term “all-time” is thrown out there with no critical thinking. I don’t feel the same way about Mahomes. It is obviously early in his career, but he isn’t overhyped.

Fact is, the way Mahomes plays the game is outstanding, as is his poise, leadership, and ability to always deliver for his team in critical situations, like Brady. He’s unselfish and doesn’t focus on his stats or individual accolades. There’s a lot to say about his arm strength, but he, like Brady, is so freakin good on the throws you need to make in that intermediate range with tight coverage. Mahomes right now is absolutely better than Rodgers has ever been, and if he wins another one, that’s fine. Talk about him being the GOAT would be ridiculous, but he is deserving of some really heavy praise. Rodgers, on the other hand, is a very up and down performer whose toxicity and failures should erode away any idea of him being in the GOAT discussion. He‘s not close.

Agree 100% on all of it. Mahomes is clutch and doesn't appear to care about anything but winning. Obviously we don't know how either thinks but I very much disagree that Rodgers is anywhere near GOAT status. He's great but hasn't been a great closer when it matters. People say Mahomes was shaky in last years Superbowl and there is some truth to that, but when it was time to close it out he did.

Joe Gibbs won three Super Bowls with three different quarterbacks, none of whom are in the Hall of Fame.
Do you think that if TFB won the SB this year and next that anyone would say BA is a great Coach?

**** Patrick Mahomes.

Too many people are under-valuing Rodgers for this weekend...First time hosting an NFCG...Soon-to-be 2020 league MVP...successfully dealing with Multiple injuries Everywhere on offense...Besides, I still don't trust Tampa's defensive backfield, its running game, nor its coaches...

I'd give him the KC Jones/Barry Switzer Coach of the Year Award for sure.

I think it's going to be a fantastic game. Def clearing my schedule Sunday for it.

AR has had a great year. Tom has had a great year. Temp looks like it'll be in the low 30s so not too cold. Wind won't be a factor. Could be high scoring and s h i t ton of passing yards.

Who covers Jones?

I don't think folks are undervaluing him but they look at Brady on the other side and realize this game is routine for him and he is also the best cold weather Qb of all time.

And of course this defense absolutely trashed Rodgers in week 6 (Packers were 5-0 at the time) with Suh making him cry/quit at halftime.

TB has the best run defense in the NFL, they can slow down GB running game. Don’t forget that GB LT who was one of the best o-lineman this year is injured. That could be huge.

I think TB run game will be fine. The last time they ran for 160. If they can run the ball like that again, they will score point.

Anyone hear the updated weather forecast for Sunday? That will play a big part in this game.
