LOL.

1-15 here we come.

-220 should be for Stidham to not be on the team, no way he starts.

Only time will tell

Anybody but Dudham

Hah - saw that. Just to make myself feel better I rewatched his 2019 preseason runs/throws (especially week1). He looked pretty darn good and made some pretty fantastic throws, especially to Maurice Harris who dropped 2 sure TD passes in week 1. Oh, he played after that during the last 2 regular seasons you say? I'd rather not remember just in case BB decides he's the guy.

My guess Stidham is gone. clearly he did something in the offseason that they have no faith in the kid anymore. i dont put much stock in the bettors anyway. I

honestly the QB position is the biggest question mark for next season. and if Bill has any intentions of competing in the playoffs its the #1 position he has to tackle. Bill can go out sign a solid Tight end, go get legit NFL wide receivers. but he still needs a guy who can get them the ball. Bill still should draft a prospect high. but after that...

you have Tier #1 guys bill could get like Stafford/Jimmy G. But these are dependent on what their teams do. supposedly the 49ers will move on if they get a better option. but will that better option show up? if Matt Ryan becomes available I could see shannahan go out and get him as he may be better able to run his offense. Jimmy G hasnt been very comfortable in shanahans offense. hence why he threw an 8 whopping passes in the NFCCG. you dont do that unless you are protecting your QB. Also would the lions move on from stafford or try and make another run?

Then you have guys who are reclamation projects like Marcus Mariota, jameous winston, andy dalton, heck even Cam newton if bill feels he isnt totally finished. These guys could pan out or bomb. This is more the "Ryan tannehill" route where he languished on the Dolphins but now looks like a good legit QB with solid coaching.

Then you have guys like Fitzpatrick etc. who you know what you will get. Low Ceiling but higher floor.

Just put $100 down on Stafford

Just a feeling.

Since we're on to the 2021 season, and Stidham is the only QB signed, I'm going to be irrationally optimistic. He's out of BB's doghouse from that summer wedding, so he's learned his lesson. Did you see that TD to our new all-Pro? 71% completion rate against the great Rams defense? No INTs his last 3 games? Blue skies ahead. We'll be singing zippity doo dah out of all the holes the OL is going to create for the run because the D is going to have to respect the pass.

I would say "odds are"... that it isn't anyone on that list. I would also make an educated guess that Bill goes on the cheap and drafts a QB after round 1, likely 3, signs a Kyle Allen type or two and lets them fight it out through mini-camp and training camp to the extreme frustration of us all. He'll put the FA money and draft capital into the Defense and O-line, get second tier talent FA's at WR and TE again. It will be a tough, competitive team, but without the magic of TB12 its just not going to happen.
Oddly enough, after 20+ years of getting it wrong, the Bills have it right and we don't. That's how I see it right now as we try to compete without a true franchise QB and show no signs of getting one.
