Very easily could have been 45. Had 3 touchdowns dropped against the panthers and another 2 today

If you're talking about Brady's play he was very good this year. Not his best year by a long shot, but he had a legit very good year. Which has never happened for a 42 year old QB. Let alone a 43 year old QB. He had a B+ borderline A- year. That is unprecedented.

As for how good the Bucs are as a whole, they have question marks. If they need to score 35+ points every week to win they will lose though. Brady probably can't be that consistent anymore and the defenses won't be that bad. They will need their D to win at least one for them against a good offense. Can they do that? I don't know.

Oh stop . You’re probably one of those that thought he was washed up last year. Worse set of skill players ever! How’s that looking for bill this year?

Imagine being number 3 in TD’s and number 2 in yards and not making the pro bowl lol lol
And this is statistically a top 5 season for Brady. He has 14 probowls so he has at least 9 seasons where he had worse stats but got a pro bowl.

"Brady fell off the clifff five years ago...I was right!!!"

Max...meet Mr Woodchipper...take a look inside...thanks,the Universe
Well if he fell off a cliff that's one hell of a high cliff. Still falling 5 years later with no bottom in sight.

P

Brady didn't have great nationally televised games. That didnt make a good case for voters
But playing for a perennial losing franchise with questionable coaching should count for something.

Being 43 and playing at an elite level is historic and should be counted as an automatic pro bowl. Manning would have gotten it if he had 10 less TD, 1000 less yards, and was 5 years younger.

Well that’s better than a QB who throws 8

Yes of course, but the bottom line is the offense in NE is garbage. The best player was probably Damien Harris. Brady has tons of playmakers to work with in Tampa. What this season has shown is that Brady is still a great QB with the right weapons around him

Iggles will be missing 9 starters on offense. Do they wanna win one for the jints? lol yea ok.

The Eagles sure as hell don't want WFT to win the division in their building...and it's Jim Schwartz's last game. He could retire at the end of this season. Not sure that Philadelphia is just going to roll over

(Looks at the 2020 Patriots)

LOL OK
I am not comparing NE to Tampa like so many here. What Brady did is impressive but I was just stating the facts that they haven't beaten many good teams this year. Let's see if they can change that in the playoffs . Why do some fans think that it's not okay to say anything negative about the Bucs but yet you will constantly bash Bill !

What are you talking about? I'm talking up Brady's play. The dude is incredible considering his age. He is a top 5, maybe top 3 QB at 43. Incredible. He had a very good year last year. Probably better than his year this year honestly, though the stats wouldn't say that.

If you're talking about my B+/A- remark, the only QBs i'm giving an A or A- to for sure are Wilson and Mahomes, who are right in their prime. I don't think any QB deserves an A+ this year. I guess I'd give Rodgers an A- too. But IMO he hasn't been as good as his stats say.

They have peaked at the right time. Doesn’t matter who they have and haven’t beaten, they’re playing great football at the time of year you want to do that.

I think they’re going all the way.

40 Td's are impressive, however when you look at their whole body of work, the only team they beat with a winning record was GB. They lost to NO twice, lost to KC, lost to the Rams,. Let's see them go on the road and win against GB, Saints or Seattle and then I will be more impressed.

I agree but people vote. Right or wrong, their votes matter

Weeks 8-11
Giants (16th pass defense)
Panthers (17th)
Saints (5th)
Rams (1st)

Weeks 12-16
Chiefs (15th)
Vikings (24th)
Falcons (30th)
Lions (31st)

I wouldn't call doing what you are supposed to against bottom of the league bad pass defenses peaking.

And 1st round against either Washington or NYG might be another struggle for him. Washington is top 5 against the pass and NYG already had Brady flustered this year and were a failed 2 point conv. from taking them to OT.
Lost his best lineman during that time as well let’s not leave that out

I think Brady has made his way back into the MVP conversation. He probably won’t win it but his last month will raise a few eyebrows and might get a few votes.

Tom looked good today. Throwing bullets and moving well in the pocket.
He has supreme confidence. Did not miss a beat with Evans going out. He is also starting to click with AB. It will be a fun ride this post season.
