Fun Fact - No First Quarter Points at Gillette All Year

I went back and looked and it doesn't appear the offense has scored a single point in the first quarter at home all year. We'll see if that streak ends tonight.

2020 Pats are ranked dead last in the league in first quarter points by quite a bit so this is easy to believe.

That's almost as depressing as Week 17 Patriots-Dolphins last year being my 1st and only visit to Gillette Stadium

Ian, damnit, you got me hyped for "WE haven't allowed an opposing TD in the 1st quarter in Gilette all year."

And instead, I get reminded of how terrible this offense has been. My goodness, it's bad. Remember when the stat we all thought was inexcusable was: The Patriots haven't ever scored in the first quarter.......... of a Superbowl.

Id imagine we’re killing everyone in batted balls in the first quarter tho!!

The script couldn't have been any worse if it was: 1st down, take a knee, 2nd down, take a knee, 3rd down take a knee, 4th down, punt.
