There is a ton of cap space out there next year. Let's see what they do with it.

I like the long term prospects for the Patriots right now. As far as this season, you saw some fundamental problems out there today.

They're correctable. But will the coaches do it?

With Vegas losing, and assuming Baltimore loses to Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Pats are essentially a half game behind on the 8-seed, and then 2 games behind the teams in the 6 and 7 seeds, one of whom is Miami who they play again still. Definitely alive but not in control.

I think they have to run the table to make the playoffs. I don’t trust cam newton to do that but we shall see. This offseason will the biggest for bill. I think they’re kind of making the transition longer.

When you’re out of the top 10, the picks don’t matter much in the 1st round. Like I said, the Patriots weren’t getting a top 10 pick no matter their lack of talent.

Stidham’ s career QB rating is 39. He’ll more likely be bagging groceries next year than be on the Patriots.

Too much belief in Murray magic. But too many ways to get a first down these days not involving actually making a play.

I wonder if Bill could ever bring himself to tank for an Andrew Luck/Peyton Manning type prospect coming out? Hype up Trevor Lawrence all you want, but he isn't that level of prospect. I wonder if he would be willing to at least try and tank for one though? Probably not.

Just a random thought as I know this win is bittersweet for many fans her. I for one liked it. I would have prefered a better called game and one that was more earned by both teams. It felt like everything was either a penalty to decide things or a crazy play that happened to work out for things that were game changing. It would have been nice if it were just cleaner. I'm still looking some young defensive players to cheer for besides the obvious ones ala Jackson and Thor.

Terrible officiating this game, I am not a believer in conspiracy theories but today I am leaning towards changing my mind !
Great over all win, however Cam did not even throw for a 100 yards with another 2 INT's and no TD's. That is bad QB play , something needs to be done with his mechanics and his decision making. How has he suddenly forgotten how to read defenses ? Something else must be going on.
Anyway, going to enjoy the win and now going to watch KC/ Tampa....
